KX-T 824

The KX-T 824 Advanced Hybrid PBX system provides features that can satisfy the demands of even the most advanced users.

Pre-configured for 3 lines and 8 extensions, it can be expanded to a maximum of 8 lines and 24 extensions. The KX-T 824. It also features an optional internal voice message card with 24 mailboxes and 60 minutes recording time.

The KX-T 308 is the ideal solution for small businesses or home offices requiring a flexible PBX system with a high degree of sophistication.

It can cost effectively support all your customers personal and business communication needs and is supplied fully configured for 3 lines and 8 extensions, therefore requiring no expansion cards.

Packed with many features, the KX-T 308 features an optional internal voice message card with 8 mailboxes and 60 minutes recording time.

Alternatively the KX-TVM 50 or KX-TVM 200 voice mail systems can be used with this system (see p17).

It is supplied with 4 ISDN channels built-in, and provides an extremely cost effective solution for smaller applications. KX-TDA 15 offers a maximum of 8 trunks plus 4 IP channels and 20 extensions, and can be easily expanded to suit a growing company’s needs.

Each KX-T 7600 series digital keyphone has a DXDP which allows an additional keyphone to be connected to the system giving users extra flexibility at no extra cost.

The KX-TDA 15 system requires the initial keyphone to be connected to a hybrid extension port.

The secondary handset is then connected to a port on the master phone, providing a totally separate extension (see diagram below).

When connected to a hybrid port, XDP is also available.

Each proprietary digital keyphone (excluding the KX-T 7668) has an Extra Device Port (XDP) which allows an additional SLT to be connected to the system

●

Each hybrid port can support both DXDP and XDP (i.e. 2 x 7600 series keyphones + 1 x SLT per hybrid extension port)

●

Each keyphone and SLT can have a unique extension number

●

The SLT can be programmed in parallel mode – primary keyphone & SLT will ring as one

Configuration guidelines

The system has 5 slots available for expansion. These slots can be populated with either line cards, extension cards or IP cards. A maximum 4 extension cards or 4 line cards can be added, to increase the capacity. The system can accommodate up to 2 DECT interface cards.

Each analogue line card and extension card requires an MDF cable. There is also an option slot for adding features such as doorphone, outgoing messages and multi-party audio conferencing.

The system has 10 slots available for expansion. As with the KX-TDA 100 it can be populated with either line, extension or IP cards.

A maximum of 8 extension cards or 8 line cards can be added to increase capacity. The system can accommodate up to 4 DECT interface cards. Each analogue line card and extension card requires an MDF cable. There is also an option slot for adding features such as doorphone, outgoing messages and multi-party conferencing.
