Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the hand mixer.

The B the selected speed setting at the press of the button. During especially heavy mixing tasks, press the button to drive through the mixture with ease. Once the button is released, the mixer will return to the original speed setting.

The beater design allows for thorough, fast mixing results for all types of batters. The beaters are dishwasher safe.

Use these hooks to knead bread dough, pizza dough or other heavy batters and doughs. Use at lower speeds for best results.
Note that the beaters are interchangeable but dough hooks are not. When using dough hooks, the dough hook with the collar higher on the stem (see feature drawing) towards the tip fits into the flat drive hole on the mixer. The dough hook with the collar lower on the stem fits into the drive hole with the raised rim. If dough hooks do not click into the drive holes, reverse and try again.

The drink mixer is designed to mix all types of frozen or powdered drinks. Recommended for use in plastic or metal beverage containers only.

COOKIE CUTTERS
Roll out cookie dough and press cookie cutters into the dough.
WHISK
The whisk is used to beat air into mixtures such as egg whites, yolks or cream.
HANDLE
The handle has been designed for comfort to prevent hand fatigue during heavy or long mixing tasks.

Before using your mixer for the first time, wash the beaters in hot/soapy water, or the dishwasher. Rinse and dry.
Be sure speed control is in the “OFF” or “0” position and unplugged from an electrical outlet. Insert beaters one at a time, by placing stem end of beaters into the opening drive holes on the bottom of the mixer. Turn beater slightly and push in until beater clicks into position.
Note that the beaters are interchangeable but dough hooks are not. When using dough hooks, the dough hook with the collar higher on the stem (see feature drawing) towards the tip fits into the flat drive hole on the mixer. The dough hook with the collar lower on the stem fits into the drive hole with the raised rim. If dough hooks do not click into the drive holes, reverse and try again.
Firmly pull out a suitable length of cord and plug into an appropriate outlet. When fully extended, the green mark on the cord is to indicate maximum usable length. DO NOT pull the cord out beyond the red mark or you may damage the cord.

Slowly guide mixer around sides and through center of bowl, going in the same direction. Be careful not to overbeat the mixture. Overbeating tends to make some mixtures tough.
Whenever scraping of the bowl is required, stop the mixer and scrape sides and bottom of bowl with a rubber spatula as needed. Turn speed control to “OFF” or “0” and rest mixer on its heel rest while adding ingredients. Be sure to position beaters over mixing bowl so any drippings will fall back into mixing bowl.

When mixing is complete, set speed control to “1” and raise beaters slowly from batter to clean off clinging food. Be sure to turn unit to “0” before raising beaters completely out of mixing bowl.
EJECTING BEATERS OR DOUGH HOOKS
Be sure speed control is at the “OFF” or “0” position and cord is removed from electrical outlet. Scrape off any excess batter with a rubber spatula. Grasp the stems of the beaters with your hand and press the beater eject button. Beaters will release into your hand.

3. Place ingredients into a bowl. Place the mixer handle directly in the center of the bowl.
4. Select the speed setting that matches your mixing needs.
5. Operate the mixer. Guide the beaters continuously through the mixture.
6. to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, first move the position selector to the “0” position. Then place the mixer on the heel rest so that the beaters can drain into the bowl.
7. When stirring heavy dough, do not insert dough hooks more than 1 inch deep into the dough so as to avoid some dough being drawn into the machine.

CARING FOR YOUR MIXER
CLEANING
Wash the beaters before and after every use. Beaters may be washed in a dishwasher. After removing cord from electrical outlet, clean mixer head with a damp cloth and wipe dry. DO NOT IMMERSE MIXER IN WATER. This may cause electric shock, injury, or damage to the product. Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners that will damage the finish of your mixer.

Before cleaning any part of the mixer, set the position

“OFF” or “0” position, then unplug the cord from the outlet and eject the beaters. Be sure to dry all parts thoroughly before using them again.
2. The beaters may be washed in hot, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
3. The mixer and the cord can be cleaned with a damp cloth but the final clean
must be with a dry cloth.
4. To remove stubborn spots, wipe surfaces with a piece of cloth, slightly
dampened, in soapy water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
5. Do not use any abrasive cleaner or material to clean any part of the
hand mixer, as it can harm the body of the product.

Hold the plug end by hand and press the cord retract into the mixer housing (failure to hold plug may cause plug to whip around). Note that the last few inches of cord may need to be pushed into the housing while the release button is depressed. Store the hand mixer on its heel rest in a clean, dry location such as a cabinet or shelf. Store beaters in a drawer.

Other than the recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary. If for any reason your hand mixer should require repairs, do not try to fix it yourself. Send it to the nearest Authorized Sunbeam Appliance Service Center.

1. You can select a speed by turning the position selector to the speed required, from Speed 1 to Speed 5.
2. No matter where the position selector is situated, you can get a higher speed immediately by pressing the “Burst” button.

One-Year Limited Warranty

warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What Are the Limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.
Sunbeam disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
