USB-ADP Serial Adapters
USB-ADP Serial Adapters
USB-ADP serial adapters allow you to connect your USB2000 Spectrometer, HR2000 Spectrometer, USB-BP Battery Pack, or USB-LS-450 Light Source to external equipment (such as handheld PCs, Light Sources, and computers) via a custom connection block. The USB-ADP serial adapters connect to the accessory connector on the spectrometer, light source, or USB-BP and provide the various interfaces required by different types of hardware in your sampling system. Each type of USB-ADP adapter has a built-in 5V power input, enabling you to power the USB spectrometer without using the USB port on the PC.
There are three types of USB-ADP adapters currently available from Ocean Optics:
USB-ADP-PC
USB-ADP-H
USB-ADP-PX2
The following sections detail each serial adapter and provide information on compatible equipment, connection tips, and required connection accessories.
