D50》Procedure for adjustment when DG-PCB is replaced

Summary

It was reported that because the necessary data was not written in some RP DG-PCBs, the captured image
became blackened at specified settings if replaced with such defective PCB.

ISO:200
Shutter speed: 1/60 - 1/1.3
Aperture: f4- f5

* Camera functions normally at the other settings than the above.

Measure

　Whenever replaced with DG-PCB of D50, be sure to follow the below instructions.

1. Connect D50 to PC.

2. Start the D50 image adjustment software [Date of version: 2005-09-05 (Ver. 1.02) or higher]. Perform
“WRITING THE FIXED VALUES.” of “Nikon D50 shooting image adjustment program” of the main
menu.

3. Make an image adjustment.

4. Set “INITIAL SETTINGS” of the main menu.
