IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The instructions are part of the appliance. Read and follow the instructions in full to avoid possible harm and damage. Save these instructions and pass them on to any subsequent user.
Avoid risk of fatal electric shock and fire
•Only plug the base into suitable, earthed mains connections. Only connect to properly earthed outlets. Make sure that the voltage of the power source is the same as that specified on the rating plate.
•Do not pull the cable over sharp edges, clamp it or allow it to hang down. Keep the cable away from heat and excessive moisture.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
•The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
•Disconnect the base from the mains when not in use for a long period and before cleaning. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not pulling the cable itself, or the cable may be damaged.
•Short power-supply cords reduce risks resulting from becoming entangeld in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer (or detachable) cords may be used if care is excercised in their use, and
1) the marked electrical rating is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance
2) a grounding-type 3-wire cord is used
3) cord(s) is arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
EN
•If an extension lead is required, use only an earthed cable with a conductor cross-section of at least 1.5 mm2 / 0.06 in2.
•Never immerse cord, plugs, or the base in water or other liquid.
•Jug is not dishwasher proof.
