Kind to the environment. As part of its commitment to producing and delivering energy-efficient,
environmentally friendly monitors for facilities
striving to be more “green” with their technology purchases, NEC currently offers the largest
selection of monitors that are in compliance with
the Electronic Product Environment Assessment
Tool (EPEAT) standards. With the NEC AccuSync
LCD72VX and LCD92VX, NEC is currently the
only manufacturer to offer both trade-compliant
displays that also are EPEAT silver-certified. In
fact, more than 95% of NEC monitors have been
awarded silver certification from EPEAT. EPEATcompliant monitors are recognized for helping
reduce hazardous waste and electricity usage,
resulting in lower energy costs and increased
protection for the environment. EPEAT-certified
products contain reduced levels of cadmium, lead
and mercury. They are also more energy-efficient,
which reduces emissions of climate-changing
greenhouse gases, and they decrease acquisition
costs over the lifetime of the monitors by reducing
energy consumption and minimizing recycling fees.
Enhanced screen performance. With contrast
ratios as high as 500:1 (typical) and brightness
quality much higher than CRTs at 250 cd/m2, the
AccuSync LCD Series delivers vibrant colors and
flicker-free images that make your time in front
of the monitor more comfortable and productive.
NEC’s Rapid ResponseTM technology provides for
uninterrupted display of full-motion video with
response times as quick as 12ms. This remarkably
quick motion makes these models better than ever
for gaming and video applications such as presentations and streaming web video.
Compatibility for today and tomorrow. With
Ambix® dual-input technology–which utilizes both
DVI-D and traditional 15-pin VGA connectors–you
can bridge the gap between analog and digital
systems by allowing the same monitor to work
seamlessly in either environment. Ambix provides
compatibility with today’s computer systems and
is on the forefront of tomorrow’s digital output.
