The DH9500 can deliver your entire music collection in multiple rooms up to 4 zones. One z one can consist of mor e rooms. Different styles of music can be played throughout the house at the same time.
Built in CD recording
There’s no need to connect your DH9500 to a PC to record CDs. It incorporates a high quality CD player to enable recording in high quality uncompressed and high capacity compressed options.
High internal storage capacity
You can store up to 2650 hours of music onto the hard disc in compressed recording and 240 hours uncompressed!
Direct Access on the Internet
Through the DH9500 you have direct access to the Internet (the worlds largest music database; Gracenote on www.CDDB.com) to download information about artists, albums and tracks. Updating and organizing your music database becomes much more enjoyable and quick.
User friendly remote control and Menu Screen
Easy navigation is made simple and intuitive through the Marantz Menu Screen. From your chair you can navigate and select the desired music in seconds with the ergonomic remote control. The button lay out is logical and kept to a minimum. Many personalized features are available like individual playlist and genre selection, but presets of playlists as well.
Upgrade and Communication Port
The DH9500 incorporates a RS232C computer communication port for system control with computer based home automation system products.
Full compatibility
You can connect the DH9500 with your existing home entertainment system without any additional requirements. The DH9500 works very well with the latest generation touch screen learning remote controls (Marantz RC5400 and RC9500). XiVA provides a Windows application that enables these remote controls to be programmed with album listing from the Marantz DH9500. This software can run on a PC or laptop connected to the DH9500 via Ethernet or RS232C. You can download this program from www.marantz.com.
It is also fully compatible with most leading multi-room control systems like Crestron, AMX and OPUS. The combi­nation with OPUS provides an ideal solution for the ultimate multi room home entertainment distribution system with e.g. a TXT500 for text interface. OPUS is a Marantz partner in multi-room, multi-zone systems. The system links a discretely situated Master Control Unit to a number of zones around your home. These zones can be indi­vidually accessed by Keypad Display Units and Remote Controls. This combination of Marantz and OPUS puts real Home Entertainment within everyone’s reach.
