Introduction
There are three Audio Dub Stations available to students. Use these stations to
transfer and burnto Cds audio recorded on cassettes and/or mini-disc. CD tracks burned at the dub stations can be played in a standard
The FYP Audio Dub Stations are compatible with two types of CD’s:
• CD-R • Compact Disc Recordable. A blank, single-use, recordable CD. Recordable CDs are neither data, nor audio CDs. CD-Rs are simply media. The format in which you record the disc will determine where it can be played and what types of files it can hold.
• CD-RW • Compact Disc ReWritable. Same as a CD-R except CD-RWs can be erased and used more than once. Some CD-RW manufacturers suggest that you do not reuse the same disc more than five times.
CD-R’s and CD-RW’s are available in the Media Center Vending Machines located on the eighth floor of Michigan and third floor of the Sharp.
