W/ PREMIUM VCA CIRCUITRY AND FIREWIRE I/O
After nearly two years of extensive R&D and collaboration with some of
the world’s foremost DJs, Mackie is proud to introduce its first DJ mixer, the d.2—the world’s first DJ mixer with premium analog circuitry and optional FireWire computer connection.
This revolutionary 2-channel mixer is built upon intelligent ergonomics, bulletproof construction, premium analog VCA circuitry, and ultra highperformance components—including an Infinium® optical crossfader, Mackie-designed mic and turntable preamps, smooth analog EQ with blue backlit knobs, 3-position spring-loaded Transform switches, and plenty of mixer headroom for a wide, open “analog” sound.
Most notably, the d.2 is the first DJ mixer with optional FireWire connectivity, letting turntablists, remixers and digital DJs mix in mp3 files directly from a Mac or PC laptop, or record DJ sets directly to their computers.
FEATURES
• Premium 2-channel DJ mixer with analog VCA circuitry
• FireWire option card for recording and mixing mp3s and other files directly to and from Mac or PC
• 45mm “no-contact” Infinium optical crossfader for years of use with no audio degradation
• Mackie-designed mic and turntable preamps for ultra-low noise and maximum “punch”
