Economy
High standards of safety, easy operation, and a broad choice of equipment options mean extremely economical recycling operation. Liebherr material handlers are particularly characterised by high performance capacity, low fuel consumption, and low service and maintenance costs. Thanks to the well-classifi ed series of models, Liebherr can provide the right machine, whatever the job might be.
Cab comfort
The good all-round visibility from the cab and the optional cab elevations allow for excellent viewing in containers, sorting boxes, or truck dump sites. The cab contains the individually adjustable and ergonomically designed driver’s seat, allowing the operator to produce best possible performance all day long.
Diversity of equipment
Material handlers can be used equally well in open country or in enclosed halls. The carefully thought out special fi ttings reduce exhaust gas and noise emissions to a minimum. High carrying loads and fast operating procedures provide the ideal conditions for top performance in industrial recycling, while a wide range of equipment variants optimise their working capacity.

Economy
In comparison with conventional drive systems, the Liebherr travel drive system on wheel loaders achieves a fuel reduction of up to 25 percent and more! Five fewer litres of fuel per working hour cut down operating costs clearly, as well as reducing the burden on the environment.
Cab comfort
The most modern ergonomic cab design allows the driver to achieve more performance and productivity with the greatest possible comfort. The unique all-round view, a dust fi lter overpressure system, a protective screen, and other options all provide best possible safety for the driver.
Diversity of equipment
For recycling operations, Liebherr wheel loaders have a wide range of options on offer. For demanding applications, Liebherr provides, among other things, cardan shaft and chassis protection, and the “High Lift” lifting gear variant provides for a higher discharge height. Our options were especially designed for operations of this kind.

Reliability
The main focus is on the long service life of the machine as a whole, and the avoidance of downtimes. When it comes to waste tip operations, Liebherr crawlers are provided with the most widely differing range of protection and sealing techniques to prevent damage to the machine due to large pieces of waste and reduce the penetration of dust and dirt.
Diversity of equipment
Operations on waste dumps impose extremely high demands on the machines that work there. Liebherr crawler tractors and loaders can provide a range of equipment fi ttings and options which have been developed especially for these conditions.

Cab comfort
Excellent all-round vision, low cab noise level, and a cab designed to provide maximum possible comfort – everything to provide the driver with a workplace that really is something special.
Intelligent cooling system
The reversible fan is the answer to providing particularly reliable cooling for the Diesel engine. At regular intervals this automatically reverses its direction of rotation, and in this way reliably frees the radiator of any material adhering to it. This in turn prevents the risk of overheating which arises when working on waste dumps. Add-on grilles can be provided for the various different blade and bucket vehicle designs which are especially matched to the density and consistency of the waste materials. These increase the volumes and at the same time allow the crawler operator to have the best view possible of the material which is to be transported.

Economy
Stepless control and the fi ne sensitivity response of the hydrostatic travel drive allows for precision manoeuvring as well as jerk-free travel without gear shifts, throughout the entire speed range. The auto-acceleration function regulates the revolution speed of the Diesel engine, and in this way also automatically controls the speed of the operating hydraulics depending on the joystick defl ection. The interplay of travel drive and Diesel engine makes for fuel-saving travel, especially when frequent changes of direction are involved.
Diversity of equipment
Thanks to the universal add-on capabilities, the telescopic handlers can be used in an enormous variety of situations. A wide range of add-on tools are available, and the equipment units can be optimally matched to the special operational situations that arise in recycling and material handling.

Cab comfort
The spaciously dimensioned cab allows for concentrated but fatigue-free working. The noise level in the cab interior is comparable to the values encountered in a family car.
Perfect control
The multifunction joystick can provide precise control of any load being moved, whatever the weight. The travel direction switch is integrated into the joystick for simple forward and backward movements. With the right hand on the joystick, all the travel and operating functions can be operated, leaving the left hand constantly on the steering wheel for added safety.
