6. Please, do not expose to any kind of heat such as ovens, radiators, or any other devices (incl. ampliﬁers). Please check for enough distance between ampliﬁers and walls, racks, etc. to prevent overheating.

7. After connection please check the wiring to prevent any kind of accident or damage. Please never use any kind of damaged cable and wiring.

8. Only use authorized and stable stands, brackets, shelfs, tables etc.. for installations. Please check for adequate stability against collapse.

9. Appearance of interferences when using wireless systems. The simultaneous use of wireless microphones and of mobile phones (if both devices are not very distant from each other) can lead to the appearance of interferences in the microphone signal which can be heard in the PA system.

This system is able to induce an acoustic pressure of 80 db. 85 db is by law the maximum audio pressure level which your ear can be exposed to during a work day. It was set according to the technical expertise of the occupational medicine as a basis for the noise rating level. Higher sound levels or longer exposition times could damage your ear. The time of exposition by higher sound pressure levels should be shortened in order to prevent from ear damages. Here are a few reliable warning signals which show that you have exposed yourself for a too long period to excessive sound pressure levels:

- You hear bell- or whistling sounds!

- You have the impression that you can’t hear high tones anymore!

INTRODUCTION

The LD MAUI 28 (Multiple Array User Intuitive) is the perfect solution for musicians and DJs as well as presentations and events with sophisticated music playback.

Because no cables and stands are required, this “plug-and-play” system can be set up and taken down again very easily and quickly. Frequency-response-based 4.1 ﬁve-way amping results in a clear, dynamic and balanced sound throughout the frequency range of this system. The array conﬁguration ensures greater coverage with very well-balanced sound distribution even in the farthest corners of the venue.

The MAUI 28, which combines PA and monitoring system in one, guarantees the same sound experience for both audience and musician. No disturbing speaker cables, no speaker stands, no transport issues, simply plug in the mixer and you're ready to go.

SETUP, CONNECTION AND STARTUP:

TRANSPORT AND SETUP

The LD MAUI 28 active system is very compact and easy to transport. The subwoofer must be placed on the rubber feet before use. Please NEVER use the system while it is on a transport trolley! There is a danger of uncontrolled movement of the entire system. This can lead to accidents and damage. The amplifier cooling

elements are in the back of the subwoofer. When the amplifier is in use, please maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm between these cooling elements and other objects, walls, etc., to permit sufficient heat exchange. Please make certain that the system and all connected source devices, mixers, CD players, etc. are properly connected to one another and to the power mains. Use only undamaged cables with a sufficient cross-section and only completely unrolled cable reels. Route the cables so as to avoid tripping hazards (gaffa tape). The unit should never be positioned directly at an edge. Please also do not position the subwoofer on a table. It is advisable to always turn the system on first and off last in order to avoid loud popping sounds when the connected devices are turned on and off.

CONNECTION AND OPERATIONIt is possible to set both the overall system volume as well as the volume of the subwoofer in relation to the overall volume. The ultimate volume level is then adjusted via the source device. The connections permit both an unbalanced and an unbalanced connection (XLR / jack 6.3 mm) to a source device. The position of the connectors and control elements of the LD MAUI 28 are shown on the following page.

SETUP

The LD Systems MAUI 28 all-in-one array system consists of the following three components:

1. Subwoofer with integrated electronics for all 3 parts of the system.

2. The lower vertical array column with 8 x 3“ speakers and 2 multipin connectors, one each on the top and bottom.

3. The upper vertical array column with 8 x 3“ speakers, the tweeter and a multipin connector on the bottom.

Once the subwoofer is positioned in the room that is to be ﬁlled with sound, the lower vertical array column is plugged onto the subwoofer. Four sturdy steel pins help ensure that the multipin connectors of both speakers mate perfectly. Now the upper vertical array column is simply plugged onto the lower column according to the same principle. Special control electronics

use an LED to indicate that all parts of the system are properly connected after the MAUI 28 array system is turned on.

Presetting of the subwoofer volume in relation to the volume of the array columns. Basic setting 12 o'clock.

MAIN LEVEL

Presetting of the overall volume - the subwoofer is also controlled in accordance with the SUB LEVEL preset.

LEDS

ON: lights up when the unit is on. LOCK: lights up when the system is plugged together correctly. SIGNAL: lights up when a signal is present at the input. LIMIT: lights up when the limiter is active. PROTECT: lights up when the system is overloaded and automatically switches to mute.

POWER SWITCH

On / off switch. Turn on connected devices such as mixers, etc., before turning on the active system and turn them off after turning off the active system.

POWER CONNECTION SEAT

240 V connector socket (IEC plug) and fuse holder. The power connector must be disconnected whenever the fuse is replaced. If the fuse burns out repeatedly, the unit must be inspected by a specialist.

The statutory warranty rights towards the seller are not affected by this guarantee. In fact, it justiﬁes, additional independent warranty claims towards Adam Hall.

Adam Hall warrants that the Adam Hall product you have purchased from Adam Hall or from an Adam Hall authorized reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for a period of 2 or 5 years from the date of purchase.

The Limited Warranty Period starts on the date of purchase. In order to receive warranty services you are required to provide proof of the purchase date. Your dated sales or delivery receipt, showing the date of purchase, is your proof of the purchase date. Should products of the brands named above be in need of repair within the limited warranty period, you are entitled to warranty services according to the terms and conditions stated in this document.

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of this Adam Hall branded product and is not transferable to anyone who obtains ownership of the Adam Hall branded product from the original purchaser. During the Limited Warranty Period, Adam Hall will repair or replace the defective component parts or the product. All component parts or hardware products removed under this Limited Warranty become the property of Adam Hall.

In the unlikely event that your Adam Hall product has a recurring failure, Adam Hall, at its discretion, may elect to provide you with a replacement unit of Adam Hall´s choice that is at least equivalent to your Adam Hall branded product in hardware performance.

Adam Hall does not warrant that the operation of this product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Adam Hall is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions included with the Adam Hall branded product.

This Limited Warranty does not apply,

- to wear parts (e.g. accumulator)

- to any product from which the serial number has been removed or that has been damaged or rendered defec tive as the result of an accident

- in case of, misuse, abuse, or other external causes

- by operation outside the usage parameters stated in the user´s documentation shipped with the product

- by use of spare parts not manufactured or sold by Adam Hall

- by modiﬁcation or service by anyone other than Adam Hall

These terms and conditions constitute the complete and exclusive warranty agreement between you and Adam Hall regarding the Adam Hall branded product you have purchased.

If your Adam Hall branded hardware product fails to work as warranted above, your sole and exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement. Adam Halls’ maximum liability under this limited warranty is expressly limited to the lesser of the price you have paid for the product or the cost of repair or replacement of any hardware components that malfunction in conditions of normal use.

Mit diesem System können Schalldrücke über 80 db erzeugt werden. 85db ist der Schalldruck, der laut Gesetz als maximal zulässiger Wert über die Dauer eines Arbeitstages auf Ihr Gehör einwirken darf. Er wird nach den Erkenntnissen der Arbeitsmedizin als Berurteilungspegel zu Grunde gelegt. Höhere Lautstärken oder längere Einwirkzeit können Ihr Gehör schädigen. Bei höheren Lautstärken muss die Hörzeit verkürzt werden, um eine Schädigung auszuschließen. Sichere Warnsignale dafür, dass Sie sich zu lange zu lauten Geräuschen ausgesetzt haben, sind:

- Sie hören Klingel- oder Pfeifgeräusche in den Ohren!

EINFÜHRUNG

Das LD MAUI 28 (Multiple Array User Intuitive) ist die ideale Lösung, sowohl für jeden Musiker und DJ, als auch für Präsentationen und Veranstaltungen mit anspruchsvollen Musikeinspielungen.

Das Plug und Play System ermöglicht einen schnellstmöglichen und einfachen Aufbau. Das auf die Frequenzverteilung bezogene 4.1 System mit 5 Verstärkerwegen sorgt für ein dynamisches, klares und ausgewogenes Klangbild über den kompletten Frequenzbereich. Die Anordnung des Arrays sorgt für eine größere Abstrahlweite bei einer sehr gleichmäßigen Schallverteilung bis in jeden Winkel der Location.

Das MAUI 28 System, PA und Monitor in einem, garantiert das gleiche Klangerlebnis für Publikum und Musiker. Keine lästigen Lautsprecherkabel, keine Boxenstative, keine Transportprobleme; einfach den Mixer anschließen und los geht’s.

AUFSTELLUNG, ANSCHLUSS UND INBETRIEBNAHME:

TRANSPORT UND AUFSTELLUNG

Das Aktivsystem LD MAUI28 ist sehr kompakt und kann leicht transportiert werden. Zum Betrieb muss der Subwoofer auf die Gummifüsse gestellt werden. Bitte nehmen Sie das System NIE auf auf einem Transportwagen stehend in Betrieb! Es

besteht die Gefahr einer unkontrollierten Bewegung des ganzen Gerätes. Dieses kann zu Unfällen und Beschädigungen führen. Der Kühlkörper des Verstärkers befindet sich hinten am Subwoofer. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass dieser Kühlkörper beim Betrieb des Verstärkers einen Mindestabstand von 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen, Wänden, etc. hat, um einen ausreichenden Wärmeaustausch zu ermöglichen. Bitte achten Sie auf einwandfreie Verkabelung sowohl der Stromzufuhr als auch der angeschlossenen Zuspielgeräte, Mixer, CD-Spieler usw. Verwenden Sie nur unbeschädigte Kabel mit ausreichendem Querschnitt sowie nur vollständig abgewickelte Kabelrollen. Verlegen Sie die Kabel so, dass keine Stolperfallen entstehen können (Gaffa-Tape). Das Gerät sollte nie direkt an eine Kante gestellt werden. Bitte stellen Sie den Subwoofer auch nicht auf einen Tisch. Es empfiehlt sich, das Gerät immer als letztes ein- sowie als erstes auszuschalten, um laute Ein- und Ausschaltknackser durch die angeschlossenen Geräte zu vermeiden.

ANSCHLUSS UND BEDIENUNG Es kann sowohl der Gesamtpegel des Systems als auch der Pegel des Subwoofers relativ zum Gesamtpegel eingestellt werden. Die endgültige Einstellung des Pegels erfolgt dann über das Zuspielgerät. Die Anschlüsse erlauben sowohl eine asymmetrische Verbindung als auch eine symmetrische Verbindung (XLR / Klinke 6.3 mm) zu einem Zuspielgerät. Die Position der Anschlüsse und Bedienelemente des LD MAUI28 sind auf der nächsten Seite dargestellt.

AUFBAU

Das LD Systems MAUI28 All-in-one Array System besteht aus folgenden 3 komponenten:

1. Subwoofer mit der integrierten Elektronik für alle 3 Systemteile.

2. Die untere Vertical-Array-Säule mit 8 x 3“ Lautsprechern und 2 Multipin-Anschlüssen, je einer auf Ober- und Unterseite.

3. Die obere Vertical-Array-Säule mit 8 x 3“ Lautsprechern, dem Hochtöner und einem Multipin-Anschluss auf der Unterseite.

Nach der Positionierung des Subwoofers in dem zu beschallenden Raum wird die untere Vertical-Array-Säule auf den Subwoofer aufgesteckt. 4 stabile Stahlstifte helfen dabei, dass die Multipin-Stecker beider Boxen perfekt ineinander greifen. Die obere Vertical-Array-Säule wird nun

einfach nach dem gleichen Prinzip auf die untere Säule aufgesteckt. Die korrekte Verbindung aller Systemteile wird nach dem Einschalten des MAUI28 Array-Systems von einer speziellen Kontrollelektronik durch eine LED angezeigt.

Ce système est capable de générer une pression acoustique supérieure à 80dB. 85dB est la limite légale du niveau sonore à laquelle votre ouïe peut être soumise lors d’une journée de travail. Cette valeur a été ﬁxée par la médecine du travail comme valeur de référence pour la mesure du niveau sonore. Vous exposer à des niveaux sonores plus élevés, ou sur une durée plus longue peut endommager votre ouïe. INSTALLATION, CONNEXION ET MISE EN SERVICE:

TRANSPORT ET INSTALLATION

Le système amplifié MAUI 28 est trés compact et facile à transporter. Pour installer votre système commencez par poser le caisson de basses sur ses pieds en caoutchouc. Ne transportez jamais votre votre système sur un plateau à roulettes si le système est en service. Le système pourrait se renverser. Ceci pourrait avoir de graves

conséquences (dégâts matériels ou pire, blessures). Les dissipateurs thermiques se trouvent sur la face arrière du caisson. Veillez à laisser un espacement minimum de 50 cm entre ces dissipateurs et tout autre objet se trouvant derrière le système (murs etc.) afin d'assurer une bonne circulation et un bon renouvèlement de l'air. Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation soit bien connecté ainsi que les appareils externes tels que lecteur CD, console de mixage etc. N'utilisez pas de câbles endommagé. Les câbles que vous utilisez doivent être en parfait état et avoir un diamètre suffisant. Pensez à sécuriser vos câbles au sol avec de l'adhésif Gaffa par exemple. Vous éviterez ainsi que quelqu'un trébuche et se blesse. Ne placez pas l'appareil en bord de scène. Ne placez pas non plus le caisson de basses sur une table. Nous recommandons de toujours allumer le système en dernier et de toujours l'éteindre en premier. Vous éviterez les bruits parasites qui peuvent être générés par les appareils externes.

CONNEXION ET MISE EN SERVICELe MAUI 28 vous offre la possibilité de régler le niveau de volume général du système mais offre également un réglage indépendant du niveau de volume du caisson de basses. Ceci vous permet de doser les basses avec précision. Le réglage final du niveau de volume se fera ensuite sur votre source audio (mixeur, lecteur CD ou autres). Les différentes connectiques permettent une connexion symétrique ou asymétrique (XLR / Jack 6,35 mm / RCA) de vos appareils externes. INSTALLATION

Le système "All in one Array" LD Systems MAUI 28 est composé

1. Un caisson de basses intégrant l'électronique pour les trois composants différents.

Une fois le caisson de basses installé veuillez placer la partie inférieure de la colonne verticale sur le caisson. Les 4 broches en acier vous aident à guider les connecteurs multibroches et à les emboiter parfaitement. La partie supérieure de la colonne verticale peut à présent être montée de la même manière sur la partie inférieure. Après la mise sous tension du MAUI 28 une LED de contrôle vous indiquent si le système a été correctement connecté.

Al ser un sistema plug and play, la instalación se realiza rápida y fácilmente. El sistema 4.1, con ampliﬁcación de cinco vías, proporciona un sonido dinámico, claro y equilibrado en toda la gama de audio. El diseño del array proporciona una amplia cobertura con una distribución uniforme, incluso en los rincones más alejados de la sala.

El sistema MAUI 28, que combina sistemas de PA y de monitorización todo en uno, garantiza la misma experiencia musical tanto para el músico como para el público. TRANSPORTE E INSTALACIÓN

El sistema activo LD MAUI 28 es muy compacto y puede transportarse fácilmente. Durante el funcionamiento, el subwoofer deberá apoyarse sobre las patas de goma. ¡NUNCA utilice el sistema sobre una plataforma de transporte! El equipo podría desplazarse sin control, con riesgo de vuelco, lo que podría provocar accidentes y daños.

El disipador de calor del amplificador se encuentra en la parte posterior del subwoofer. Mientras el amplificador está operativo, mantenga este disipador a una distancia mínima de 50 cm de otros objetos, paredes, etc. para mantener una ventilación suficiente. Verifique el cableado de alimentación eléctrica, así como el de los equipos conectados, como mezcladores y reproductores de CD. Utilice sólo cable sin defectos y de sección adecuada; además, los rollos de cable deberán estar totalmente desenrollados. Para evitar riesgos de caídas, fije el cable con cinta americana. No instale el equipo cerca de un desnivel, como el borde del escenario. No coloque el subwoofer sobre una mesa. Para evitar los típicos chasquidos iniciales al conectar los equipos que suministran la señal, se recomienda encender el sistema el último y apagarlo el primero.

CONEXIÓN Y OPERACIÓN Puede ajustar el nivel general del sistema, y también ajustar por separado el nivel del subwoofer. El ajuste final del nivel se realiza en el equipo que suministra la señal. Dicho equipo puede conectarse tanto en modo balanceado como no balanceado (XLR/jack de 6,3 mm). En la siguiente página se muestran las conexiones y los controles del LD MAUI 28.

MONTAJE

El sistema LD MAUI 28 All-in-one array consta de tres componentes:

1. Subwoofer con la electrónica integrada para los tres componentes del sistema.

2. Array vertical inferior de columna de 8 x 3" y dos conectores

Il sistema di connessione plug and play permette un'installazione semplice e veloce. Il sistema 4.1 basato sulla ripartizione della frequenza a 5 vie di ampliﬁcazione garantisce un spettro acustico dinamico, chiaro e armonioso su tutta la gamma di frequenza. La disposizione degli array permette di ampliare il raggio di diffusione con una distribuzione uniforme del suono in ogni angolo.

Il sistema MAUI 28 è sia un sistema PA che un monitor e garantisce la stessa esperienza acustica sia per il pubblico che per i musicisti. Niente cavi altoparlanti fastidiosi, niente treppiedi per le casse, nessun problema di trasporto. Basterà collegare il mixer e sarà tutto pronto.

MONTAGGIO, COLLEGAMENTO E FUNZIONAMENTO:

TRASPORTO E MONTAGGIO

Il sistema attivo LD MAUI 28 è estremamente compatto e facile da trasportare. Posizionare il subwoofer sui piedini in gomma per permettere il funzionamento. Si consiglia di non lasciare MAI il sistema sul carrello di trasporto durante il funzionamento! Questo potrebbe causare uno spostamento incontrollato dell'intero dispo-

sitivo. Inoltre potrebbe provocare danni e incidenti. Il dispositivo di raffreddamento dell'amplificatore si trova nella parte posteriore del subwoofer. Durante in funzionamento, fare in modo che il dispositivo di raffreddamento dell'amplificatore sia posizionato ad almeno 50 cm di distanza da altri oggetti, pareti, ecc per permettere un adeguato ricambio di aria. Si raccomanda di fare attenzione affinché i collegamenti via cavo alla presa di corrente e agli altri dispositivo di riproduzione, mixer, lettore CD, ecc, siano effettuati correttamente. Utilizzare esclusivamente cavi non danneggiati e con una sezione adeguata e soltanto bobine per cavi completamente srotolate. Disporre i cavi in modo da evitare il pericolo di inciampo (nastro Gaffa). Il dispositivo non deve mai essere posizionato direttamente sul bordo di un supporto. Si prega di non posizionare il subwoofer su un tavolo. Si consiglia di accendere il dispositivo sempre per ultimo e spegnerlo per primo per evitare rumori di accensione e spegnimento provocati dai dispositivi collegati.

COLLEGAMENTO E FUNZIONAMENTO Il sistema permette di regolare sia il livello generale del sistema che il livello del subwoofer in relazione al livello generale. La regolazione definitiva del livello viene effettuata tramite il dispositivo di riproduzione. I collegamenti disponibili permettono sia un collegamento sbilanciato che un collegamento bilanciato (XLR / jack 6,3 mm) al dispositivo di riproduzione. La disposizione dei collegamenti e degli elementi di comando del LD MAUI 28 è indicata nella pagina seguente.

MONTAGGIO

Il sistema LD Systems MAUI 28 All-in-one Array è composto dai 3 componenti seguenti:

1. Subwoofer con elettronica integrata per tutte le 3 parti del sistema.

2. Colonna array verticale inferiore con altoparlanti 8 x 3" e 2 collegamenti multipolari, uno sul lato superiore e uno su quello inferiore.

Dopo aver posizionato il subwoofer nel locale di utilizzo, posizionare la colonna array verticale inferiore sul subwoofer. 4 perni in acciaio stabili garantiscono che i connettori multipolari di entrambe le casse siano collegati perfettamente tra loro. A questo punto, la colonna array verticale superiore può essere posizionata sulla colonna inferiore nello stesso modo. Un'elettronica di controllo dedicata indicata attraverso un apposito led il corretto collegamento di tutte la parti del sistema al momento dell'accensione del sistema array MAUI 28.

SUB LEVEL

Pre-regolazione del livello del subwoofer in base al livello delle colonne array. Regolazione base 12 ore.

MAIN LEVEL

Pre-regolazione del volume generale. Il subwoofer viene regolato in base alla pre- regolazione sul SUB LEVEL.

LED

ON: si accende quando il dispositivo è in funzione. LOCK: si accende quando il sistema è collegato correttamente. SIGNAL: si accende quando viene rilevato un segnale in entrata. LIMIT: si accende quando il limiter è attivo. PROTECT: si accende in caso di sovraccarico del sistema e arresta automaticamente il sistema.

CONNETTORE MULTIPOLARE

Permette il collegamento della parte inferiore della colonna array.

Adam Hall garantisce per un periodo di due o cinque anni dalla data di acquisto che questo prodotto Adam Hall acquistato direttamente dall'azienda o attraverso un rivenditore autorizzato, se utilizzato correttamente, è privo di difetti di materiale e manodopera.

Il periodo di garanzia ha inizio dalla data di acquisto del prodotto che, nel caso in cui si voglia usufruire della garanzia, va adeguatamente documentata tramite la presentazione dello scontrino o della bolla di consegna con la data di acquisto. Qualora, entro il periodo di garanzia, i prodotti di una delle marche sovraindicate necessitino di interventi di riparazione, l'utente ha diritto ad usufruire del servizio alle condizioni indicate nel presente documento.

Questa garanzia del produttore è valida esclusivamente per il primo proprietario del prodotto Adam Hall e non si può trasferire ad un eventuale proprietario successivo. Entro il periodo di garanzia, Adam Hall si fa carico della riparazione o della sostituzione dei componenti o degli apparecchi difettosi. Tutti i componenti o i prodotti sostituiti usufruendo della garanzia del produttore diventano di proprietà di Adam Hall.

Nel caso improbabile che il prodotto acquistato presenti ripetuti malfunzionamenti, la ditta Adam Hall è autorizzata a sostituire a propria discrezione il prodotto difettoso con un altro, a patto che il nuovo prodotto sia di uguale valore rispetto a quello vecchio per quanto riguarda le caratteristiche hardware.

Adam Hall non garantisce che il prodotto sia perfettamente funzionante e/o senza difetti. Inoltre, Adam Hall non risponde di danni derivanti dall'inosservanza delle indicazioni riportate nelle istruzioni d'uso fornite con il presente prodotto e in altra documentazione.

La garanzia del produttore non copre:

- parti soggette ad usura (es. accumulatori),

- apparecchi dai quali è stato rimosso il numero di serie o il cui numero di serie risulta illeggibile a causa di danneggiamenti causati dell'utente,

- danni derivanti da uso errato o improprio o altre cause esterne,

- danni ad apparecchi che non sono stati utilizzati secondo i parametri di funzionamento (parametri indicati nella documentazione contenuta nella confezione),

- danni derivanti dall'utilizzo di componenti non prodotti o distribuiti da Adam Hall,

- danni derivanti da interventi, modiﬁche o riparazioni non effettuate da Adam Hall.

La massima responsabilità di Adam Hall è limitata, come espressamente indicato nella garanzia, al prezzo d'acquisto o ai costi per la riparazione o la sostituzione (e in questo caso per l'importo minore) dei componenti hardware difettosi in caso di uso corretto degli stessi.

Adam Hall non è responsabile per eventuali danni provocati dal prodotto o dal malfunzionamento dello stesso, compresi mancati guadagni, perdite e danni speciali indiretti o conseguenti. Inoltre Adam Hall è indenne da richieste avanzate da terzi o dal cliente in nome di terzi.

La presente limitazione di responsabilità vale indipendentemente dal fatto che i danni siano oggetto di procedimenti giudiziari o che siano oggetto di risarcimento danni ai sensi della presente garanzia o per atti illeciti (incluse negligenza e responsabilità oggettiva) o per pretese contrattuali o di altra natura, e non può essere né annullata né modiﬁcata. La presente limitazione di responsabilità è valida anche nel caso in cui l'utente abbia avvisato Adam Hall o un rappresentante autorizzato di possibili danni.
