INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

REAR HITCH KITS

Place the rear hitch on top of the Soil Commander frame and position as shown in the drawing below.
Place 4J412 straps on the underside of one Soil Commander frame member and assemble loosely
with 5/8 X 8” machine bolts, lock washers, flat washers, and nuts. Then assemble likewise to the
other Soil Commander frame member.

Square up the entire assembly on the machine and tighten all fasteners.

With the rear hitch kit installed, the Soil Commander becomes “drawbar light.” Plates 3K955
and U-bolts are provided for mounting to the front of the 4” X 4” tube on the Soil Commander
drawbar. See instructions drawing on reverse side. Tractor weights (not provided) can be
attached to these plates to achieve the desired weight distribution.
