Phenomenon Abnormal noise may arise from the rotary guide motor when the next home position is
detected. Under this condition, error code C1400 or paper jam 00/50/51 may occur.
Cause The sensor light interruption section of the gear guide change 302H728041 may exceed the
position of the sensor detection area of the rotary guide sensor, when detecting the home
position after turning the main switch ON or when opening or closing the left cover etc.
Solution The leading edge of the sensor light interruption section of the gear guide change
302H728042 has been extended with 1.5mm, to ensure that gear guide change does not
exceed the position of the sensor detection area of the rotary guide sensor.
