If the gap (*) of the half-folded paper folded by the center-folding unit is remarkable, the adjustment of the center position of the lower side registration guide in the horizontal direction will reduce the gap. Please refer to the page 3 and after for the adjustment procedures.

Currently, the GUIDE CONVEYING LOWER (No.1, 2) must be removed to loosen the positioning screw (X) securing the lower side registration guide when adjusting. Therefore, an opening was added to the GUIDE CONVEYING LOWER (No.1, No.2) so that the screw can be directly accessed.

[Position adjustment of the lower side registration guide]

If the center position between the upper side registration guide and the lower guide shifts, the gap of half-folded paper may be bigger. In this case, please adjust the center position of the lower side registration guide in the horizontal direction according to the procedures described on the next pages and align it to the center position of the upper side registration guide.
