(*) As for the TASKalfa181 series models and the printer models, only the part change was applied.
(The phenomenon below does not occur due to the machine structure.)
Topic
The surface of the pulley of the reverse roller (No.1) might be damaged by heat since surrounding of the reverse
roller at the upper section of the fuser system easily reaches high temperature if Ready state became constant by
use of the machine for a long term. Therefore, the following change was made.
If the reverse roller is damaged, it may cause paper jam at the exit/duplex section (JAM50/51, JAM60/61).
Content of Changes
The material of the reverse roller (No.1) was changed from Homopolymer (POM) to Copolymer (POM) in order to
secure the tolerance for heat-resistance.
The new and old parts cannot be distinguished by the external appearance.
(The photo below shows the exit section of KM-2050.)

phenomenon occurs. It is recommended in order to lower the temperature around the reverse roller that the
heating time is shortened by turning on auto preheat and auto shut-off.
(No particular problems are expected for the TASKalfa181 series models and Printer models.)
