Topic

Please follow the procedures below when adjusting the color registration.

<When the color registration shift occurs>

1. Perform [Calibration] (auto adjustment).

2. Manually adjust the color registration if [Calibration] (auto adjustment) cannot be corrected.

<Procedures>

= For MFP models =

A. Perform the color calibration from the system menu on the operation panel. (Calibration may be performed by
power OFF/ON.)
Select [System Menu/Counter] -> [Adjustment/Maintenance] -> [Calibration] -> [Yes].

B. Manually perform the color registration adjustment (Details) if necessary,

Select [System Menu/Counter] -> [Adjustment/Maintenance] -> [Registration] -> [Details] -> [Print Chart] ->

[Yes].

Check the printed chart and input the adjustment value for each color.

= For Printer models =

A. Perform the color calibration from the operation panel. (Calibration may be performed by power ON/OFF.)
Select [Menu] -> [Adjustment/Maintenance] -> [Calibration] -> [OK] -> [Calibration?] -> [OK].

B. Manually perform the color registration adjustment (Details) if necessary.

Select [Menu] -> [Adjustment/Maintenance] -> [Registration (Details)] -> [Print Chart] -> [OK] -> [Print Chart?] ->
[OK].

Check the printed chart and input the adjustment value for each color.

<Note>

C. Do not perform manual color registration first. Immediately after that, the color registration was adjusted, but the

color registration shift may appear again after several days.

D. For more accurate adjustment, make sure to perform the color registration adjustment (Details) also.
