below occurs.

To be informed:
To several issues, we have created a modification kit containing the parts in the <Table.2>.
The Item code of each modification kit is described in the <Table.3>. (Each country has a different item code!)
All latest hardware updates since January are implemented in this kit.
For more details, please refer to the Service Bulletin SB-2KT-0019-D012.
We do not recommend ordering the modification kit in every case, but the price for the kit will be lower than the
parts ordered separately ,which makes the purchase more convenient.

Topic
When the joint (X) at the machine left side insufficiently engages the joint (Y) at the toner container due to
dimensional variation of the parts or the assembly, the machine drive might not be transmitted to the toner container,
which causes toner supply failure. Also, the toner replacement message might be frequently displayed even if the
toner container was replaced with the new one. Therefore, the following change was made.
Content of Changes
The shape of the CAM TONNER SUPPLY (No.1) thrusting the joint at the main unit in the engaging and
disengaging directions was changed to facilitate the joints engagement of the main unit and the toner container.

The edges of the entry shape were cut to avoid the contact with
the rib around the joint (Y) of the toner container.
To secure the margin for the joint's
engagement when the toner motor
holder is bent, the snap-fit shape to
hook the toner motor holder was
changed and the length of the arm
was extended by 1 mm.
The outer diameter of the insertion shape was reduced by thinning its
thickness so that the gap margins between the part and the hole to
insert the joint of the toner container left guide can be secured in order
to avoid the contact with the hole to insert the joint.
- Old outer diameter: 16.95 mm (+/-0.04 mm)

- Top tray open: The CAM TONER SUPPLY thrusts the joint (X) in the disengaging direction as indicated on the
page 1.
(The toner container can be detached by disengagement of the joints.)
- Top tray close: The CAM TONER SUPPLY slides in the engaging direction and the joint (X) of the machine
engages the joint (Y) of the toner container by the pressure of the spring attached inside of the joint (X).
(The machine drive is transmitted to the toner container by engaging the joints, and the toner conveying screw in
the toner container is rotated to supply toner.)
