When the power switch is turned on, the machine detects activation of the registration switch (RSW), the exit switch (ESW) or the feedshift switch (FSSW).
A cover open state is detected during copying. When the machine waits for secondary paper feed, 30 s or
more have elapsed. The registration switch (RSW) does not turn on within 1680
ms of the bypass paper feed solenoid (BYPPFSOL) turning on; the solenoid is then successively held off for 1 s and turned back on once, but the switch again fails to turn on within 1680 ms.
The registration switch (RSW) does not turn on within 1430 ms of the paper feed clutch (PFCL) turning on; the clutch is then successively held off for 1 s and turned back on once, but the switch again fails to turn on within 1430 ms.
