[ Frame ]

Ultra-stable but extremely thin-walled pipes made from high-grade
chrome-molybdenum give the tubular space frame maximum torsional
rigidity and excellent tracking stability while keeping the weight to a
minimum.

Born in KTM racing, the premium-quality WP fork provides reserves and
adjustment options for even the most extreme rides. In doing so, it also

[ CYLINDER HEAD ]

The overhead camshaft uses two rocker arms optimised in
terms of weight and rigidity to activate the four valves – a
reliable design that allows power to build up in the compact
combustion chamber for unsurpassed performance. Easy to
service thanks to the slanted valve cover.

[ COUNTER BALANCE SHAFT ]

The crank drive of the world's most modern single cylinder
converts full combustion pressure into smooth single power as
never before seen. The balance shaft reduces vibrations to a
minimum.

[ ENGINE MANAGEMENT ]

Innovative engine management with electronically managed fuel injection and an
EPT system (Electronic Power Throttle). The throttle plate position is electronically managed in line
with the manual throttle operation, guaranteeing extremely homogenous power output. A simple switch
under the seat can be used to select between three mappings: 'soft', 'aggressive' or low-octane fuel
(up to 80 octanes) for long-distance journeys.

[ AIRBOX ]

everyone KnoWs that being first class depends on
inner values. the perfect WorKmanship and im-
pressive details act as traditional features that
reflect the Ktm philosophy.

[ REAR END ]

12 litre tank and integrated fuel pumps made of the
most robust plastic that makes the addition of
metal struts to the integral tank rear frame
unit unnecessary. The foot pegs and handles
supplied as standard let you easily equip
the machine for journeys with a co-rider.

The large-volume airbox has been perfectly embedded above
the cylinder and guarantees both maximum performance and
efficient sound damping. Thanks to the position of the intake
snorkel under the seat, the engine's air intake is protected
from dirt – fine dust particles are filtered by the highly effec-
tive paper filter's large discs.

[ SUSPENSION ]

Whether in the country or the city, the broad adjustment range together
with the full spring travel (690 Enduro: 250 mm / 690 Enduro R: 275 mm)
guarantee excellent riding characteristics whatever the terrain.

[ FRONT END ]

Mask & cockpit with a multi-functional cockpit and a high
light output, the Enduro 690 is the optimum everyday
motorcycle. The even lighter weight Enduro 690 R on the
other hand, only has the essentials: a sporty, minimised
digital speedometer and a slimline mask for real go-getters.

[ BRAKES ]

Sophisticated Brembo brakes with light-weight wave
brake discs prepare the motorcycle for hardcore riding,
whether speeding along the asphalt or on the ultimate
off-road mountain descent.

[ TYRES ]

A true all-rounder, the Enduro 690 has
dual-purpose tyres suitable for road use.
Once again, the R model is even more
radical: while guaranteeing controlled and
safe handling on asphalt, the deep-tread
tyres equip your motorcycle for the toughest
off-road rides.
