Precautions

Location

Using the unit in the following locations can result in a
malfunction.

• In direct sunlight

• Locations of extreme temperature or humidity

• Excessively dusty or dirty locations

• Locations of excessive vibration

Power supply

Please connect the designated AC adaptor to an AC outlet
of the correct voltage. Do not connect it to an AC outlet of
voltage other than that for which your unit is intended.

Interference with other electrical devices

This product contains a microcomputer. Radios and
televisions placed nearby may experience reception
interference. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from
radios and televisions.

Handling

To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the
switches or controls.

Care

If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene or thinner, or
cleaning compounds or flammable polishes.

Keep this manual

After reading this manual, please keep it for later
reference.

Keeping foreign matter out of your equipment

• Never set any container with liquid in it near this
equipment. If liquid gets into the equipment, it could
cause a breakdown, fire, or electrical shock.

• Be careful not to let metal objects get into the equipment.
If something does slip into the equipment, unplug the AC
adaptor from the wall outlet. Then contact your nearest
Korg dealer or the store where the equipment was
purchased.

Preparations for tuning

1. Install a battery as explained in "Replacing the battery." If you use an
AC adapter (

2. Turn on the power switch.

3. Connect the output of your instrument to jack 6 (INPUT). If you are
tuning an acoustic instrument, place the built-in microphone near the
instrument or plug in a contact microphone to the input jack.

If a plug is connected to the INPUT jack, the internal mic will not function.

The audio signal that is connected to the input jack will be sent directly to
the Bypass/Sound Out jack.

When not using the tuner, be sure to disconnect cables for longer battery
life.

Tuning a guitar or bass etc. (Normal tuning)

1. Set the function select switch to CHROMATIC.

Tune your instrument so that the center LED lights. If the pitch is flat, an
LED at the left will light. If the pitch is sharp, an LED at the right will
light. (The note name LED will indicate the note name.)

Using Buzz Feiten tuning

Use this mode only if you have a guitar that is designed with the Buzz
Feiten Tuning System.
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System (BFTS ) adds slight adjustments to the
pitch (similarly to "stretched tuning" on a piano) to make your playing
sound its best from low through high ranges, regardless of chords or keys.

When using Buzz Feiten tuning, tune to the string attack, not the decay.

1. Set the function select switch to BFTF.

2. As appropriate for your type of guitar, press switch

Replacing the battery

When replacing the battery, turn off the power switch.

If the batteries run down during use, the note name LED display
will be interrupted by a message of "b," "a," "t," "t." The unit
can still be used for a time, but accurate tuning will not be
possible. You should install a new battery as soon as possible.

1. Slide the lid of the battery compartment (located on the
bottom of the DT-7) in the direction of the arrow, and lift the
lid up to open the compartment.

2. Install the new battery, making sure that the polarity is
correct.

3. Close the lid of the battery case.

● ACアダプターのコードを無理に曲げたり、上に重いもの
を乗せたりしないでください。コードに傷がつき危険で
す。

● 本製品をヘッドホン、アンプ、スピーカーと組み合わせて
使用した場合、設定によっては永久的な難聴になる程度
の音量になりま す。大音量や不快な程度の音量で長時間
使用し ないでください。万一、聴力低下や耳鳴りを感じた
ら、専門の医師に相談してください。

● 本製品に、異物（燃えやすいもの、硬貨、針金など）や液体

（水やジュースなど）を絶対にいれないでください。

● 本製品およびACアダプターを分解したり、改造したりし
ないでください。

● 本製品は正常な通気が妨げられる ことのない所に設置し

● 外装のお手入れは、必ず乾いた柔らかい布で軽く拭いて
ください。ベンジンやシンナー系の液体は絶対にご使用
にならないでください

音名LED

チュー ニ ングの準備

1.「電池の交換」の項目にしたがって電池を入れます。
ACアダプター（A30960J ：別売）を使用する場合は 4(DC 9V)
に接続し ます。

2. 電源スイッチをオンに します。

3. 楽器のアウトプットや、ピックアップ等を端子6(INPUT)に接続します。ア
コースティック楽器の場合は、音の出る部分を内蔵マイク部分に近付ける
か、コンタク ト・マイク（CM100推奨：別売）を接続します。

INPUT端子にプラグが接続されているときには内蔵マイク は動作しま せん。

端子6に接続された音は、そのまま端子5(BYPASS/SOUND OUT)から出力
します。

電源スイ ッチがオフのときでも端子5にプラグを接続すると、内蔵 してい
るバッファアンプが動作し電池 を消耗します。 使わないときは端子5に
プラグを接続しないで ください。

ギターやベース等をチ ューニ ングする（通常チューニング）

1. 機能切り替えスイッチをCHROMATICに合わせます。

2. 中央のLE D が点灯するようにチューニングします。音が低いときは左側

（−）、高い ときは右側（＋）のLEDが点灯します(音名LEDに音名が表示）。

BFTS搭載の

BFTS(バズ・フェイ トン・チューニング・システム)は、ピアノのようにストレ ッチン
グと呼ば れる微妙な調整を加えることで、低音域から高音域までコードやキー

に関係なく、心地よい響きが得られるようにしたチ ュ ーニング・システムです。

BFTSは

弦を弾いた直後の音でチューニングしてください。

1. 機能切り替えスイッチをBFTSに合わせます。

2. ギターの種類に合わせてスイッチ1( )を押して、BASS(ベース) 、
ACOUSTIC(ナイロン＋スチール)、ELECTRIC(エレキギター)の切り 替えをし ま
す（左上のLEDが点灯）。

3. スイッチ 2( )を押してOPEN(解放弦チューニング)を選び（左上のLEDが
点灯）、中央のLEDが点灯するようにチューニングします。
LEDに弦番号1から6が表示されます（BASSはL、1〜4、H）。

4. スイッチ2( )を押して12th FRET(12フレット押弦チューニング)を選び（左
上のLEDが点滅）、12フレットを押さえて弦を弾き、中央のLEDが点灯する
ようにブリッジの駒（サドル）を移動します。左側（−）のLEDが点灯する場
合は駒をネック側へ、右側（＋）のLEDが点灯する 場合は駒 を テール ピ ース
側へ動かします。

5. スイッチ2( )を押 して OPEN(解放弦チュ ーニ ン グ)を選び中央のLEDが点
灯するようにチューニングします。

キ ャリブレーション値を変更をする

1. 機能切り替えスイッチをCALIBに合わせます。

2. 値を下げるにはスイッチ1( )、上げるにはスイッチ2( )を押し ます。こ
のとき音名LEDに、キャリブレーション値の438Hz〜445Hzの下一桁（8
〜5）またはFを表示します。

音名LEDの表示がFのと きは、フラ ット・チューニング・モー ド になります。

フラット・チューニング・モードにする

1. 機能切り替えスイッチをCALIBに合わせます。

2. 音名LEDにFが表示されるまでスイ ッチ1( )、またはスイッチ2( )を
何度か押します。

3. 機能切り替えスイッ チをCHROMATIC、またはBFTSに合わせてチューニング
します。

フラット・チューニング ・モード のときの音名LEDは、半音高い表示になります。
たとえばＡの音（実音）を入力したときの表示はＡ ＃になります。

キャリブレーション値は４４０Ｈｚのみです。

基準音C2〜B5を端子5(BYPASS/SOUND OUT)から出
力する

1. 機能切り替えスイッチをSOUNDに合わせます。

2. 基準音を下げるにはスイッチ1( )、上げるにはス イッチ2( )を押しま
す。このとき基準音を音名LEDに表示します。

電源スイッチをオフにすると、基準音はA４に戻ります。

接続したギターやベース等の音をミュートする

3スイ ッ チ(MUTE)を押すたびに、ミュー トの オン 、オフが切り替わります。ただ

し、ミュート・スイッチ端子にスイッチが接続される 場合、ミュ ートがオフのとき
は、この3スイッ チ(MUTE)を押している間だけミュートします。オンのときは
左上のLEDが点灯します。

接続するミュ ート・スイ ッチは、オルタネイト動作（オン、オフがロック式）の
ものを使用してください。

電池の交換

電池の交換は電源スイッチをオフにして行ってください

使用中に電池が消耗してくると、音名LEDの表示に割り込んでb、a、t、

tと メッセージが表示されます。しばらくの間は動作しますが、チューニングが

正確にできなくなります。速やかに新しい電池と交換してく ださい。
1．裏面の電池ケースのふたを矢印方向にずらしてから、引き上げて開けます。
2．電池スナップに極性を注意して電池を取り付けます。
3．電池ケースのふたを閉めます。

期間内に製造上の不備に起因する故障の生 じた場合は下記の保証
規定により無償修理いたします。

保証条件

1. 本保証書の有効期間はお買い上げ日より1ケ年です。

2. 次の場合の修理は保証期間内であっても有料修理となります。
○ 消耗部品（電池など）を交換する場合。
○ お取扱い方法が不適当のために生じた故障の場合。
○天災（火災、浸水等）によって生じた故障。
○ 故障の原因が本製品以外の、他の機器にある場合。
○ コルグサービスステーションおよびコルグ指定者以外の手により

○ 本保証書の提示がない場合。
○ 日本国外で使用される場合。

尚、当社が修理した部分が再度故障した場合は保証期間外であっ て も、修

3. 修理や運送費用が、製品の価格より高くなることもありますので、あら
かじめコルグ ・サービスステーシ ョンまたはインフォメーションヘご相
談ください。 運送にかかる往復の費用は、お客様の負担とさ せていた
だきます。

4. 保証期間が切れますと修理は有料になりますが、引き続き、製品の修
理は責任を持って させていただきま す。修理用性能部品（電子回路な
ど）は通常8年間を基準に保有 しております。ただし外装部品（パネル
など）の修理は類似の代替品を使用するこ ともありますのでご了承
ください。

5. お客様が保証期間中に移転された場合でも、保証は引き続きお使いい
ただけます。移転先のコルグ製品お取り扱い楽器店、またはコルグ営
業技術課までお問い合わせください。

本保証書に販売年月日の記入がない場合は無効となります。
※ 修理は、お買い上げの販売店に必ず本保証書を提示の上、ご依頼くだ

さい。記入不可能な場合はお買い上げ年月日を証明できる領収書等
と一緒にご保管ください。
