Your Kohler Bidet Faucet
Your new bidet faucet blends elegant styling and beauty with exceptional performance and reliability. Each faucet is precision engineered and constructed of premium quality materials to provide trouble-free operation even under the hardest water conditions.
Your bidet faucet is used for partial bathing. The user sits on the rim of the bowl facing the faucet. Fresh water enters the bidet in a stream from the bidet faucet. A drain retains water in the bowl if desired.
The bidet may also be used as a footbath. It is roomy and low enough to use easily while sitting on a chair.
Care and Cleaning
For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your Kohler product:
Test First - Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire surface.
Do Not Let Cleaners Soak - Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the product.
Avoid Abrasive Materials - Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.
Wipe Clean - Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately after applying cleaners. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces.

Care and Cleaning (cont.)
Care Tip: The ideal cleaning technique is to always blot dry any water from metal surfaces. Allowing water to evaporate on metal will form water deposits. It is important to use a dabbing action to dry metal, not an abrasive or rubbing action. Cleaning with a damp sponge and blot drying should keep your product looking beautiful.
Chrome, Solid Color, and Vibrant Fittings:
Do not use cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or acid.
Use a mild detergent such as dishwashing soap. Do not use
PVD Color/Finishes – Faucets and

abrasive cleaners.
Rinse and be sure to blot the entire surface dry.
Consider using Comet Fantastik
Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner.

Bathroom Cleaner, Windex®Original, or

Vitreous China Faucets:
Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product after each use.
Soft abrasive cleaners may be used when necessary to clean vitreous china products. Strong abrasive cleaners will scratch and dull the surface.
Consider using Comet Fantastik

NOTICE: Failure to comply with these cleaning instructions may void Kohler’s warranty obligations.
NOTE: Success with cleaners and procedures is dependent upon such factors as the hardness and temperature of the water, using exact quantities of ingredients, changes in cleaning formulas, and the condition of the product being cleaned. Since there are variations within these factors, Kohler cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the formulas mentioned.

NOTE: The water temperature does not need to be adjusted if the maximum water temperature is below 105°F (41°C).
Lift and turn the lever handle to the full hot position. Determine the temperature using a thermometer. If the
temperature exceeds 105°F (41°C), complete the following steps. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully pry the plug button off
the lever handle. Loosen the setscrew on the handle with a hex wrench, then
remove the handle and bonnet. Note the position of the locking ring relative to the inner geared
ring.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the locking ring during removal, pry each side of the locking ring off the inner geared ring with an equal and even technique.
Gradually pry each side of the locking ring up off the inner geared ring and onto the valve stem with a flat-blade screwdriver.
Rotate the valve stem clockwise to increase temperature, or counterclockwise to decrease temperature.
Reinstall the locking ring into the inner geared ring. Reinstall the bonnet and handle to the faucet body. Test the setting and make any adjustments as needed.
