BATTERY WIRING DIAGRAM located inside the machine on the hood.
PREPARATION
WARNING: BEFORE ANY SERVICING BE SURE
THE MACHINE IS TURNED OFF AND THE BATTERY CHARGER IS DISCONNECTED.
PAD INST ALLATION (Figure 1)
CAUTION: Use of burnishing pads larger than 19”
diameter will damage this machine.
Turn the MASTER SWITCH “ON” and raise the pad
head by toggling the P AD LIFT SWITCH to the “UP” position. Open the machine’s hood and tilt the pad head
back. Unscrew the padholder, center the pad on the
driver and press on. Replace the padholder.
CONTROLS
MASTER SWITCH (Figure 2)
Turn on main power for machine operation. When this
switch is in the “ON” position, the pilot light is illuminated.
VACUUM MOTOR SWITCH (Figure 3)
Turn on the vacuum motor to collect dust created when
burnishing the floor.
P AD LIFT SWITCH (Figure 4)
Toggle to OFF to raise or ON to lower the pad head.
P AD PRESSURE GAUGE (Figure 5)
This reference gauge shows the amount of pad pressure on the floor relative to the amount of amperage
draw on the pad drive motor.
P AD PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT KNOB (Figure 6)
Turn knob counterclockwise to increase “+”, clockwise
to decrease “-” pad pressure.
TRAVERSE SPEED (Figure 7)
Turn knob counterclockwise to increase machine
speed, clockwise to decrease.
CIRCUIT BREAKER - 70 AMP (Figure 8)
This protects the pad drive motor circuit from overloads.
CIRCUIT BREAKER - 5 AMP (Figure 9)
This protects the dynamic braking system from a potential short circuit.
