It is recommended that luminaires are installed by a qualied electrician to ensure that the installation complies with the
current IEE wiring regulations BS7671: 2008.
Any broken or damaged parts should be replaced as soon as possible.
JCC will not accept responsibility for any claims arising from sub-standard installations.
Installation Note
It may be necessary to uprate your MCBs to allow for increased inrush current. A 24 Hour charge period will be required
prior to any testing.
Installation Procedure
Read instructions and check you have all the tools and accessories required to complete the installation correctly.
Isolate power supply before starting the installation.
1. Remove the ceiling tile from the location where you wish to install the LED Panel.
2. Wire the Emergency Remote Pack to the mains supply. Refer to Fig.1 for details.
3. Plug the Red/Black cable into the receiving socket on the LED Panel, then plug the Blue/brown plug and
play wire into the receiving socket on the LED driver supplied. (Fig.2)
4. Disconnect and disregard the White mains cable supplied connected to the LED driver.
5. Connect the two core Blue/Brown cable from the remote pack into the mains input terminals of the Skytile
driver. (Fig.3)
6. Connect batteries inside the remote pack prior to completing the installation
7. Ensure the Green LED Charge indicator is located alongside the Skytile and is visible once the
tting is installed and operational.
8. View on inside of ceiling void showing LED Panel in position with Emergency Remote Pack
positioned on top of it.
9. Reconnect mains power supply, and test.

Note: DO NOT carry out insulation tests with the driver connected to the circuit. The external exible cable cord of this
luminaire cannot be replaced: if the cord is damaged the luminaire should be decommissioned and destroyed.
