Programmable Hose Thread Watering Timer IT-NTT & IT-NTT-R Innovative tap timer for garden watering and micro/drip irrigation systems
This newly designed hose end irrigation timer is powered by battery and features easy to program dial settings. The solenoid valve control provides improved performance and increased reliability for home garden hose and drip irrigation systems. Timer IT-NTT-R is specifically designed to be compatible with the majority of the wired rain sensors currently available in the market.

* Rain Sensor function is only on version IT-NTT-R
1. install one 9V ALKALINE battery. After battery installation, check the case for
correct alignment and fasten the screws. Please keep the battery compartment dry when changing the battery.
2. Test the timer with the battery installed. Simply turn the “DURATION” knob
to “ON” position and the indicator will flash “Green” one time. If the battery
power is low, the indicator will continuously flash “Red” until the battery is completely drained.
3. It is recommended to program the timer prior to connecting to the tap.
Refer to “How to Program
4. Holding the unit steady, hand tighten the tap connector onto the faucet/tap until
it is secure. Do not use a wrench or pliers and avoid over tightening. Please
confirm the size of the connections (3/4” or 1”) before installation; using an
adapter if needed.
How to Program
Once the battery is installed into the timer, simply determine your watering frequency and duration, and then turn the knob to the appropriate position.
How to Set the Watering FREQUENCY
Turn the knob to the desired frequency. Whenever the knob is turned to the new setting for 2 secs, the frequency resets to the new setting. The frequency options:
1) By hour(s): 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24,48,72
2) By week: WEEK (once per week)
*Frequency setting must be longer than duration setting.
How to Set the Watering DURATION
Turn the knob to the desired duration. The water will be controlled by the frequency and duration settings, and then close automatically. The duration options:

(1) OFF: the timer valve will always be closed when the knob is in this setting. (2) ON: the timer valve will always be open when the knob is in this setting. (3) By minute(s): 1,3,10,15,20,30,45,60,90,120 (4) Manual watering: To water outside of the setting, turn the knob to “ON”, and
water will flow continuously until the knob is turned to “OFF” (always closed) or
turn to other desired settings.
How to Set START DELAY Function
You can easily delay the start time of the current watering program by pushing the “START DELAY” button. After the watering program is set, push the “START DELAY” button until the indicator is “Red”. Once the indicator is red, press the button one time for each hour, up to 12hours max. Every time the button is pressed,
the indicator will flash “Green”. For example, if you want to delay the program for 5
hours, please press the button 5 times (the indicator light will flash green 5 times as well). Once the red indicator light is off, the start time setting is complete.
*Please complete the programming process within ONE minute.
*After each programming change, press the “START DELAY” button and when the
indicator turns red; the start time program has been reset.
How to Connect “Rain Sensor” to the Timer (Version IT-NTT-R)
IT-NTT-R is compatible with the majority of the rain sensors currently available in the market. Please read the rain sensor instructions carefully and make sure the wiring is installed correctly and safely.
1. Turn off the timer.
2. Install the rain sensor per the manufacturer’s instructions
(For Example:) Normally Open (NO) rain sensor
Connect the “YELLOW” and “WHITE” wires on the timer and ignore the “BROWN” and second “WHITE” wires.
Normally Closed (NC) rain sensor
Connect the “BROWN” and “WHITE” wires on the timer and twist the “YELLOW” and second “WHITE” wires together
*The wiring may be subject to change based on make and model of rain sensor.
How to Set RAIN SENSOR Function (Version IT-NTT-R)
For efficient water saver, the controller may be controlled by using the rain sensor function. Please ensure the rain sensor is correctly wired to the timer. Push the
“RAIN SENSOR” button one time; the indicator will flash “Green” when the
function is activated. Push the button again; the indicator will flash “Red” and the function is turned off.
*Rain sensor function will always be terminated if the “DURATION” knob is turned to the “ON” position (manual watering)
Trouble Shooting
1. No watering operation
Check that the faucet is turned on Check that the “DURATION” knob is not in “OFF” position Check the battery power operating level
2. No manual operation
Check that the “DURATION” knob is at “ON” position Check the battery power operating level
3. Faucet or hose leaking
Check that there is a washer and it is properly installed Tighten the swivel coupling
4. Low Battery Power
Check if the battery indicator is red
Change the battery and reset the program
