SAFETY SUMMARY
The following recommendations are made for the safe installation of the Raised T oilet Seat:

DO NOT install this equipment without first read­ing and understanding this instruction sheet. If you are unable to understand these W arnings, Cau­tions and Instructions, contact a healthcare pro­fessional, dealer or technical personnel if appli­cable before attempting to install this equipment
- otherwise, injury or damage may occur. Use the arm supports ONLY for assistance. DO
NOT attempt to use the arms to support full body weight.
Always check to make sure that the Raised Toi­let Seat is properly and securely locked in place before using.
Make certain that the knob that secures the Raised Toilet Seat to the commode is tight at all times.
Center your weight on the Raised Toilet Seat. The seat may tip if you lean too far forward or to either side.
Users with limited physical capabilities should be supervised or assisted when using the Raised Toi­let Seat.
The Raised Toilet Seat has a weight limitation of 250 lbs. (114 kg.).
DO NOT Use Raised Toilet Seat if the toilet lip mea­surement exceeds 1-3/4-inches (FIGURE 1). The Raised Toilet Seat will not hold and may cause injury.
DO NOT use tools. Hand tighten only. DO NOT overtighten knob. The threads of the adjustment bracket may strip. Check seat for proper installa­tion and realign/retighten if necessary.
CAUTION
INSTALLING RAISED TOILET SEAT (FIGURE 1)
NOTE: Refer to the WARNINGS and CAUTIONS in the SAFETY SUMMARY of this instruction sheet.
1. Remove contents from the carton.
2. Rotate the knob on the front of the Raised Toilet Seat counterclockwise enough so the adjustment bracket will fit inside of the toilet bowl.
NOTE:The existing toilet seat/lid can either be removed or flipped-up out of the way depending on usage of the Raised Toilet Seat.
3. Place the Raised Toilet Seat on the toilet bowl.

NOTE: The Raised Toilet Seat MUST be level, straight, and the adjustment bracket MUST be inside the toilet bowl. The rear seat wings MUST be positioned un­der the rear lip of the toilet bowl (FIGURE 1).
4. After the Raised Toilet Seat is properly placed onto the toilet, turn the knob clockwise until the adjust­ment bracket is securely fastened to the front of the toilet bowl.

1. Rotate the knob counterclockwise until seat is loose.
2. Lift-up the front of the Raised Toilet Seat until the adjustment bracket clears the lip of the toilet bowl.
3. Pull the seat towards you at an angle to remove the seat from the toilet bowl.
DO NOT use abrasive detergents, cleaners or cloths to clean/dry the Raised Toilet Seat.
1. Use a non-abrasive detergent or non-abrasive cleaner with warm water.
2. Rinse with warm water and wipe with a non-abrasive cloth.

PLEASE NOTE: THE WARRANTY BELOW HAS BEEN DRAFTED TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AFTER JULY 4, 1975.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user of our products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from
state to state. Invacare warrants its product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of
the product for the original purchaser. If within such warranty period any such pr oduct shall be proven to be defective, such product shall be repaired or replaced, at Invacare's option. This warranty does not include any labor or shipping charges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of any such product. Invacare's sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repair and/or replacement.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Invacar e product. In the event you do not receive satisfactory warranty service, please write directly to Invacare at the address on the back cover. Provide dealer's name, address, model number, and the date of pur­chase, indicate nature of the defect and, if the product is serialized, indicate the serial number.
Invacare Corporation will issue a return authorization. The defective unit or parts must be returned for warranty inspection using the serial number, when applicable, as identification within thirty (30) days of return authorization date. DO NOT return products to our factory without our prior consent. C.O.D. shipments will be refused; please prepay shipping charges.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: THE WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO PROBLEMS ARISING FROM NOR­MAL WEAR OR FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS. IN ADDITION, THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO SERIAL NUMBERED PRODUCTS IF THE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN RE­MOVED OR DEF ACED; PRODUCTS SUBJECTED TO NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT, IMPROPER OPERATION, MAIN­TENANCE OR STORAGE; OR PRODUCTS MODIFIED WITHOUT INVACARE'S EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MODIFICATION THROUGH THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED PARTS OR AT­T ACHMENTS: PRODUCTS DAMAGED BY REASON OF REPAIRS MADE TO ANY COMPONENT WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC CONSENT OF INVACARE; PRODUCTS DAMAGED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND INVACARE'S CONTROL; PRODUCTS REPAIRED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED INVACARE DEALER, SUCH EVALUATION SHALL BE SOLELY DETERMINED BY INVACARE.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, IF ANY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IT SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE DURA TION OF THE EXPRESSED W ARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN AND THE REMEDY FOR VIOLATIONS OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT PURSUANT TO THE TERMS CONTAINED HEREIN. INVACARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE EXTENDED TO COMPLY WITH STATE/PROVINCIAL LAWS AND REQUIREMENTS.

SUMARIO DE PRECAUCIONES
Las recomendaciones siguientes se hacen para asegurar la apropiada y segura instalación del Asiento Elevado para Retrete:
ADVERTENCIA
NO Instale este equipo sin antes leer y entender esta hoja de instrucciones. Si tiene dificultad en entender estas advertencias, precauciones e instrucciones, póngase en contacto con un profesional de la salud, su proveedor o personal técnico, si aplica, antes de intentar la instalación de este equipo. De otro modo, heridas o daño personal pueden ocurrir.
Use los brazos para soporte SOLAMENTE para asistirse. NO INTENTE usar los brazos como soporte de su peso completo.
Siempre asegúrese de que el Asiento Elevado está propiamente asegurado y en su respectiva posición, antes de usarlo.
Asegúrese de que el botón que se usa para asegurar el Asiento Elevado está bien apretado todo el tiempo.
Centre su peso sobre el Asiento Elevado, porque éste puede ladearse si el peso es recargado sobre la parte de enfrente o en uno de los lados.
Usuarios con limitaciones físicas deben ser supervisados o asistidos cuando usen el Asiento Elevado para el Retrete.
El Asiento Elevado para el Retrete tiene una limitación de peso recomendado de 250 Lbs. (114 kilogramos).
NO USE este Asiento Elevado si la medida del labio del retrete excede 1-3/4, medida en pulgadas (FIGURA 1). El soporte ajustable no sostendrá y puede causar un accidente y como resultado heridas.
NO use herramientas. Aprételo con la mano solamente. NO LO aprete en exceso. La rosca del soporte ajustable puede dañarse. Inspeccione el asiento para ver si está bien instalado. Si no lo está, posiciónelo y aprételo de nuevo si es necesario.
PRECAUCION
NO FORCE el botón de apretar la prensa afianzadora, pues ésto puede dañar el botón y/o el Asiento Elevado.

NOTA: Refiérase a ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONS en el
SUMARIO DE PRECAUCIONES, de esta hoja de
instrucciones.
1. Desempaque el producto.
2. Gire el botón del soporte ajustable hacia la izquierda lo suficiente para permitir que entre dentro del retrete.
NOTA: El asiento y la tapa existentes pueden ser dejados en su posición levantada o pueden ser removidos, dependiendo de cómo piense usar el Asiento Elevado.
3. Coloque el Asiento Elevado sobre el retrete.

NOTA: El Asiento Elevado con soporte ajustable DEBE de estar a nivel, recto y el soporte ajustable DEBE de estar adentro del retrete. Las orejas de la parte de atras del asiento DEBEN de estar posicionadas debajo del labio trasero del retrete. (FIGURA 1).
