Important Data Collection Browser Information
Intermec cur rently offers a Data C ollecti o n Bro ws er (dcBrowser ) client that you
may have loaded on your Trakker Antares terminals. The dcBrowser lets you run
HTML applications between your terminals and a Web server through the DCS 300 or
through the DCS 301. The HTML application resides on the Web server and it
downloads Web pages to the terminals. The DCS 300 and DCS 301 pass screen and
control data between the W eb server and terminals .
Currently, there is no information about using the dcBrowser client application in the
Trakker Antares terminal user’s manuals. This instruction sheet helps you determine if
you have the dcBrowser client installed on your terminal.

• If you have a DCS 300, see the Data Collection Browser User’s Guide (Part No.
070011) and the DCS 300 System Manual (Part No. 067296).
• If you have a DCS 301, see the DCS 301 User’s Guide (Part No. 070284).

To determine if you have the dcBrowser client loaded on your terminal
1. On your terminal, access the TRAKKER Antares 2400 Menu System by pressing
T 3 ,
Enter Test and Service Mode
or T or by scanning this bar code:

Note: If your terminal has a Left Enter key, you must press it in these key
sequences. Otherwise, you can use any Enter key.
2. From th e Main Menu, choose Sys tem Menu a nd the n Fil e M anag er.
3. Select drive C and then press Enter. A list of applications that are loaded on your
terminal appear. If you have the dcBrowser client loaded on your terminal, this
file name is listed:
DCBT24.BIN
If you do not see this filename, you do not have the dcBrowser client loaded on
your terminal.
