ASSEMBLING YOUR EXTENSION TUBE
Notes:
• Avoid getting dirt/dust in your camera or camera lens.
• Always turn o the power on your camera before removing or attaching the lens or the extension tubes.
1 Remove the camera lens from the camera by pushing the lock lever on
2 Attach an extension tube section to your camera body by screwing it on
clockwise.
3 Remove or add sections to create the length you want. By using the
sections individually or combining them, you can create seven dierent lengths. The longer the tube, the closer you can focus.
• To remove a section, press the release button, then turn the section
counter clockwise.
• To add a section, screw the section clockwise onto another section.
4 Attach your camera lens to the extension tube.
Notes:
• If you are using your camera's AE (automatic exposure) feature, it adjusts to the
length of your extension tube.
• If you are manually adjusting your camera, you may need to adjust your
exposure features because your extension tube reduces the amount of light.
• The use of a tripod and camera shutter release cable are highly recommended
to avoid camera shake and blurred images.
• On zoom lenses with focal lengths above 100 mm, the focusing range may be
drastically reduced. Use the shortest extension tube for these lenses or use a lens with smaller focal length.
Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
