Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Adaptor

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Always adhere to installation / usage instructions and warning. Improper use may result in injury, damage or
hazardous spill.
1. Turn off dispenser and relieve line pressure.
2. Slide clamp onto the DEF compatible exible tubing (¾ in / 19 mm ID x ⅛ in / 3.1 mm
wall thickness) - do not tighten.
3. Slide tubing and clamp over the hose barb end of the DEF adaptor until hose bottoms
out at the adaptor ange.
4. Position clamp between the adaptor ange and the rst adaptor barb.
5. Tighten clamp by applying approximately 540 lbf•ft / 2400 N•m to clamp ear. Conrm
clamp is tight by visually inspecting the dimple formation.
6. Only connect to DEF compatible and 304 stainless steel ttings - see page 2 for
applicable seal congurations.
7. Do not use thread sealant (Teon tape, anti-seize or any other kind of sealant).
8. Install at the nozzle.
9. Tighten rmly, approximately 15 - 20 lbf•ft / 20.3 - 27 N•m, but do not overtighten.
10. Pressurize system and visually inspect for leaks.
