2 Getting Started
Loading the SIM Card and the Battery
Charging the Battery
1. Connect the charger to the charger interface on the phone.
2. Connect the charger to an AC power socket.
3. During the charging process, the charging icon is in an
animated status.
Note
When you start to charge a completely exhausted battery, the charging icon may appear on the screen several minutes later.
4. When all bars of the charging icon are displayed and keep
static, the battery is fully charged. Then you can disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.
5. Disconnect the charger from the phone.

3 Keys and Functions
Note
The four navigation keys are represented by
(down), (left), and (right) in this
document.
Press… To…
z
Access the Dialed screen in standby mode (by pressing it).
z
Make a call or answer an incoming call.
z
Power on or off the phone (by pressing and holding it).
z
End a call or reject an incoming call.
z
Return to the standby mode.
Select the option displayed on the lower left corner of the screen.
z
Access the Browser screen in standby mode (by pressing it).
z
Select the option displayed on the lower right corner of the screen.
In standby mode,
z
Press to write a message.
z
Press to access the My files screen.
z
Press to start the Camera.
z
Press to the Contacts screen.

Display the main menu in standby mode.

Confirm a selection.
z
Enter numbers, letters, and symbols.
z
Call the voice mail center in standby mode (by
pressing and holding the 1 key).
z
Speed-dial a phone number in standby mode (by pressing and holding the 2-9 key).
z
Enter the * symbol, + symbol, or P character by pressing it once, twice, three times.
z
Lock the keypad (by pressing and holding it).
z
Change input modes when editing texts.
z
Enter the # symbol.
z
Switch between the Silent and Normal profiles (by pressing and holding it).
