The ADSL2+ Router has the following buttons and ports (Figure 2):

Follow the following instructions to connect the ADSL2+ Router over a PSTN or ISDN telephone line.

PSTN Line
If you have a PSTN telephone line (plain analog line), connect the ADSL2+ Router as shown below.

Using the blue cable, connect the blue port on the splitter to the telephone socket.
Use the yellow cable to connect the network port (ETHERNET) of your computer to one of the three rst yellow ports on the Conn-x equipment.
WARNING: The purple port labeled STB is used exclusively to
connect the set-top-box required to receive OTE's Cable Television over Internet service.
A. Use the grey cable to connect the grey port on the splitter to the grey port on the Conn-x equipment.
B. Next, connect the cable of your telephone device to the black port on the splitter.
If you have a telephone set connected to the telephone socket, you must disconnect it.

Connect the power transformer to the power port on the Conn-x equipment and plug it to the mains socket.
Press the ON/OFF power button located on the side of the equipment, to turn on your equipment.
The Power, ADSL, Internet, LΑΝ and WLAN LEDs will light.
To connect additional telephone sets to other sockets, each set must be connected to a lter. Connect your telephone set to the lter and the lter to the socket.
Note: If your telephone network is connected to any device
(alarm, telephone exchange, etc.), you must use an additional ADSL lter or splitter. Please contact a specialized installer.

ISDN Line
If you have an ISDN telephone line, connect the ADSL2+ Router as shown below.

Disconnect the cable that connects the telephone set to the ISDN equipment (N.T. 1) from the telephone socket and connect it to the black port on the splitter.
Note: If your telephone network is connected to any device
(alarm, telephone exchange, etc.), you must use an additional ADSL lter or splitter. Please contact a specialized installer.
A. Using the blue cable, connect the blue port on the splitter to the telephone socket.
B. Next, use the grey cable to connect the grey port on the splitter to the grey port on the Conn-x equipment.

ISDN Line
Use the yellow cable to connect the network port (ETHERNET) of your computer to one of the three rst yellow ports on the Conn-x equipment.

Internet Settings
To install the ADSL2+ Router, insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The CD must start automatically. If the CD fails to start automatically, go to Windows Explorer, select the CD-ROM drive where the CD is located, double click on setup.exe and follow the instructions.
If you cannot install the ADSL2+ Router using the installation CD, follow the instructions given below:

Open your Browser. At the address line type http://192.168.1.1 and press Enter. The screen shown on the side will appear:
The ADSL, ATM, and Internet Status LEDs must be green. If one of the LEDs is red, check the connections and try again.

Click on Administration. The screen shown on
the side will appear:

Enter admin in the Username eld. In the Password eld enter the password you will nd on the label on the back of your ADSL2+ Router and click on ΟΚ. Note the Username and Password on the last page of the brochure.

The screen shown on the side will appear:
In the Username eld enter the username you were given at the time of purchase of your Conn-x package followed by @otenet.gr
In the Password eld enter the password you were given at the time of purchase of your Conn-x package. Click on Apply to save the settings. Now you are connected to the Internet!
Close the Browser.

Follow the instructions below to connect wirelessly to the Internet.

Wireless Connection
To connect wirelessly to the Internet you must have completed the Internet Settings.
If you wish to connect from a desktop computer, you must have installed and activated the wireless USB stick or wireless network card on your computer.
If you wish to connect wirelessly from a laptop you must have activated the wireless mode (see the user manual that came with your laptop).
For easier installation, it is recommended to keep the factory settings. You can change them later using the wireless network settings menu (see the user manual on the CD).

Double click on the wireless network icon on your computer to display available wireless networks.

The name of your wireless network that you must look for is the one that has the SSID name you will nd on the label on the back of your equipment or on the CD jacket.
Note the SSID name on the last page of the brochure.
Click on the wireless network that corresponds to the SSID name and click Connect.

On the screen that will appear enter the WPA network security key you will nd on the label on the back of your equipment or on the CD jacket labeled WPA, and click on ΟΚ. Note the WPA network security key on the last page of the brochure.
You will be connected to the network. Please wait…
Now you are connected wirelessly to the Internet! Attention! For each additional device you wish to connect wirelessly you must repeat the steps in the section Wireless Connection or Connect Wirelessly from the installation CD.

Turning the wireless network On/O /& Reset Router
The wireless mode is on. To turn it o, press and keep pressed the WLAN button on the side of the ADSL2+ Router until the WLAN LED on the top part of the ADSL2+ Router goes o. To turn the wireless mode on, press and keep the same button pressed for more than 1 second. The WLAN LED will go on.
If you need to reset the factory settings of the ADSL2+ Router, rst make sure the router is on. Press and keep the RESET button on the back of the ADSL2+ Router pressed until all LEDs (except the Power LED) go o. Wait until the ADSL2+ Router LEDs come back on. Resetting the factory settings will clear any information entered and saved in the ADSL2+ Router.

Change the Username & Password for Internet access
If you wish to change your User name and Password (you can change the User name only once, but you can change the Password as many times as you wish), open your Browser and on the address bar type http://www.oteshop.gr/myservices/myid
In the page that will open under MY e-SERVICES or Internet Services Administration click on Change of conn-x username and password and follow the instructions on the screen.
If you change the User name or the Password, repeat the Internet Settings.
