Started
Why install JetSend® for Windows CE Devices?
Installing JetSend for Windows CE Devices lets you take advantage of
JetSend communications protocol on your Microsoft® Windows®
CE-based device. With JetSend for Windows CE Devices loaded, you
can exchange documents, images, email, appointments, tasks, and
contact information with any other JetSend-enabled device—no
cables or special drivers needed.
Requirements for installation
The following table lists requirements for installing JetSend for
Windows CE Devices on your mobile device

Storage memory for installation: 800 KB for
handheld PCs; 1300 KB for palm-size PCs.
Total memory (minimum) for operation: 4 MB
(The amount of memory used during operation
depends on the complexity of the document you
are exchanging.)
Microsoft Windows CE: Version 2.11 or greater.
Infrared capability: Infrared Data Association
(IrDA) 1.2. FIR (Fast Infrared) transfer speed is
recommended for best performance.
Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT
Workstation 4.0.
Synchronization: Microsoft Windows CE
Services 2.2 or ActiveSync 3.0.

Obtain JetSend for Windows CE Devices
JetSend for Windows CE Devices is available on the World Wide
Web. For download information, go to the JetSend website
(http://www.jetsend.hp.com
).
Install JetSend
1 Download the JetSend for Windows CE Devices setup program
from the JetSend website to your desktop computer.
2 Turn on your mobile device. If it is already turned on, save all
work and quit all programs.
3 Uninstall any previous versions of JetSend for Windows CE
Devices installed on your mobile device.
4 Establish a connection between the mobile device and the desktop
computer.
5 On your desktop computer, click Start, and then click Run.
6 Click Browse and select the setup program for JetSend for
Windows CE Devices.
7 Click OK to start the setup program.
8 Follow the instructions on the screen.
9 On the desktop computer, click Finish when the setup program has
completed. You do not need to restart the desktop computer or the
mobile device.
