Started
Why install JetSend® for Pocket PC Devices?
Installing JetSend for Pocket PC Devices lets you take advantage of
JetSend communications protocol on your Microsoft® Windows®powered Pocket PC device. With JetSend for Pocket PC Devices
loaded, you can exchange documents, images, email, appointments,
tasks, and contact information with any other JetSend-enabled
device—no cables or special drivers needed.
Requirements for installation
The following table lists requirements for installing JetSend for Pocket
PC Devices on your mobile device

Storage memory for installation: 1300 KB.
Total memory (minimum) for operation: 4 MB.
(The amount of memory used during operation
depends on the complexity of the document you
are exchanging.)
Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC (version 3.0).
Infrared capability: Infrared Data Association
(IrDA) 1.2. FIR (Fast Infrared) transfer speed is
recommended for best performance.
Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT
Workstation 4.0.
Synchronization: Microsoft ActiveSync 3.0.

Obtain JetSend for Pocket PC Devices
JetSend for Pocket PC Devices is available on the World Wide Web.
For download information, go to the JetSend website
(http://www.jetsend.hp.com
).
Install JetSend
1 Download the JetSend for Pocket PC Devices setup program from
the JetSend website to your desktop computer.
2 Turn on your mobile device. If it is already turned on, save all
work and quit all programs.
3 Uninstall any previous versions of JetSend for Pocket PC Devices
installed on your mobile device.
4 Establish a connection between the mobile device and the desktop
computer.
5 On your desktop computer, click Start, and then click Run.
6 Click Browse and select the setup program for JetSend for Pocket
PC Devices.
7 Click OK to start the setup program.
8 Follow the instructions on the screen.
9 On the desktop computer, click Finish when the setup program has
completed. You do not need to restart the desktop computer or the
mobile device.
