SICHERHEIT UND INFORMATIONEN

Dieses Gerät ist für die Wiedergabe von Tonsignalen bestimmt. Jede andere Verwendung ist ausdrücklich ausgeschlossen.

Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit (Tropfund Spritzwasser).

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße (Vasen oder ähnliches) auf das Gerät. Gefäße könnten umkippen und mit der auslaufenden Flüssigkeit die elektrische Sicherheit beeinträchtigen.

Stellen Sie keine offenen Brandquellen, z.B. Kerzen, auf das Gerät.

Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur in einem gemäßigten Klima.

Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung des Gerätes, indem Sie einen Mindestabstand von 10 cm zur Umgebung einhalten. Bedecken Sie das Gerät nicht mit Zeitungen, Tischtüchern, Vorhängen, etc.

Treten Fehlfunktionen auf, etwa wegen einer kurzzeitigen Netzüberspannung oder wegen einer elektrostatischen Aufladung, setzen Sie das Gerät zurück. Ziehen Sie hierzu den Netzstecker und schließen Sie ihn nach einigen Sekunden wieder an.

Bitte beachten Sie beim Aufstellen des Gerätes, dass Oberflächen von Möbeln mit den verschiedensten Lacken und Kunststoffen beschichtet sind, welche meistens chemische Zusätze enthalten. Diese Zusätze können u.a. das Material der Gerätefüße angreifen, wodurch Rückstände auf der Möbeloberfläche entstehen, die sich nur schwer oder nicht mehr entfernen lassen.

Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel, diese können das Gehäuse beschädigen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem sauberen, trockenen Tuch.

Sie dürfen das Gerät nicht öffnen. Für Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Eingriffe entstehen, übernimmt der Hersteller keine Garantie.

Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Netzstecker frei zugänglich ist!

Ständige Benutzung des Kopfhörers

bei hoher Lautstärke kann zu Schäden am Gehör führen.

Nur durch Ziehen des Netzadapters ist das Gerät vollständig vom Stromnetz getrennt.

STROMVERSORGUNG

Netz-Betrieb

Prüfen Sie, ob die auf dem Typenschild (an der Unterseite des Gerätes) angegebene Netzspannung mit der örtlichen Netzspannung übereinstimmt. Ist dies nicht der Fall, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler.

1 Beigepacktes Netzkabel in die Buchse »AC ~«

des Gerätes stecken.

2 Stecker des Netzkabels in die Steckdose

(230V~, 50/60 Hz) stecken.

Hinweis:

Falls sich Batterien im Gerät befinden, werden diese bei Netzanschluss automatisch vom Stromkreis getrennt.

Vorsicht:

Über das Netzkabel ist das Gerät mit dem Stromnetz verbunden. Wenn Sie das Gerät vollständig vom Stromnetz trennen wollen, müssen Sie das Netzkabel ziehen.

Sorgen Sie daher dafür, dass der Netzstecker während des Betriebes frei zugänglich bleibt und nicht durch andere Gegenstände behindert wird.

Batterie-Betrieb

Sie können das Gerät auch mit handelsüblichen Batterien (nicht mitgeliefert) betreiben. In diesem Fall müssen Sie unbedingt das Netzkabel aus der Buchse »AC ~« ziehen.

Uhrzeitanzeige und Weckfunktion sind im Batterie-Betrieb nicht verfügbar.

1 Batteriefach öffnen, dazu auf die Markierung

»OPEN« drücken und Deckel nach unten schieben.

2 Vier Batterien (4 x 1,5V, Typ IEC, AM11, LR

20, D-Size) einsetzen, dabei die im Batteriefach markierte Polung beachten.

3 Deckel auf das Batteriefach aufsetzen und an-

drücken.

Hinweise:

In der Anzeige blinkt »Ä« wenn die Batterien schwach sind.

Setzen Sie die Batterien keiner extremen Hitze wie z.B. durch Sonneneinstrahlung, Heizungen, Feuer, etc. aus.

Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn sie verbraucht sind oder wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht betreiben. Gehen die Batterien zur Neige, blinkt in der Anzeige das Batteriesymbol. Dies funktioniert nicht, wenn das Netzkabel am Gerät gesteckt ist.

Für Schäden, die durch ausgelaufene Batterien entstehen, kann nicht gehaftet werden.

Die Batterien – auch schwermetallfreie – dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Verbrauchte Batterien müssen in die Altbatteriesammelgefäße bei Handel und öffentlichrechtlichen Entsorgungsträgern gegeben werden.

Rundfunk-Programme (DAB und FM) einstellen und speichern – Erstinstallation

Wenn das Gerät erstmals an das Stromnetz angeschlossen wird oder nach einem Reset, startet das Gerät einen automatischen Programm-Suchlauf nach DAB-Rundfunk-Programmen und speichert sie in der Programmliste.

Danach sucht das Gerät nach FM-RundfunkProgrammen und speichert zehn FM-RundfunkProgramme auf den Programmplätzen (Presets) 1 bis 10.

Die Uhrzeit wird automatisch eingestellt.

1 Das Gerät mit »ON/OFF« einschalten.

– Anzeige: »WELCOME« und danach »SCAN«.

– Der automatische Programm-Suchlauf startet,

sucht und speichert die gefundenen Rundfunk-Programme.

– »FULL« zeigt an, dass 10 FM-Rundfunk-Pro-

gramme auf den Programmplätzen gespeichert wurden.

– Danach schaltet das Gerät ab, die Uhrzeit

wird angezeigt.

DAB- und FM-Rundfunk-Programme einstellen und speichern – nach einem Ortswechsel

Sie können den automatischen Programm-Suchlauf erneut starten. Dies ist sinnvoll, wenn Sie das Gerät an einem anderen Ort betreiben wollen oder wenn Sie nach neuen DAB-Rundfunk-Programmen suchen wollen.

1 Das Gerät mit »ON/OFF« einschalten.

– Anzeige: der Name des Rundfunk-Program-

mes, z.B. »B5 AKT«.

2 Automatischen Programmsuchlauf starten, da-

zu »SEL/ATS« drücken und gedrückt halten. – Anzeige: »SCAN«. – Der automatische Programm-Suchlauf startet,

sucht und speichert die gefundenen Rundfunk-Programme in der Programmliste.

– Danach schaltet das Gerät ab, die Uhrzeit

wird angezeigt.

Hinweis:

Der Suchlauf nach DAB- und FM-RundfunkProgrammen kann auch über das Menü durchgeführt werden.

»SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

Den Menüpunkt »SYSTEM« mit »TUNING« an-

wählen und mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

Den Menüpunkt »ATS« mit »TUNING« an-

Mit »TUNING« die Anzeige »Y« anwählen

und den automatischen Programm-Suchlauf mit »SEL/ATS« starten.

DAB-Rundfunk-Programme auf Programmplätze speichern

Nach dem automatischen Programm-Suchlauf werden alle DAB-Rundfunk-Programme in der Programmliste gespeichert. Ihre bevorzugten DABRundfunk-Programme können Sie auch auf den Programmplätzen (Presets) 1 bis 10 speichern.

1 DAB-Rundfunk-Programm mit »TUNING« wäh-

len. – Anzeige: der Name des Rundfunk-Program-

mes, das angezeigte DAB-Rundfunk-Programm wird nach 1 Sekunde aktiviert.

2 DAB-Rundfunk-Programm auf einem Programm-

platz speichern, dazu eine der Programmplatztasten »1/6« bis »5/10« solange drücken, bis in der Anzeige »STORED« erscheint.

Hinweis:

Für die Programmplätze 6 bis 10 vorher »+5« drücken.

DAB-Rundfunk-Programme einstellen und speichern – manuell

1 Programmquelle DAB mit »MODE/AL« wäh-

len. – Anzeige: »DAB«.

2 Das Menü mit »MENU« aufrufen.

– Anzeige: »MANUAL«.

3 »SEL/ATS« drücken.

– Anzeige: zum Beispiel »I74.9 SA« (Frequenz

und Kanal eines DAB-Rundfunk-Programmes).

4 Gewünschte Frequenz/Kanal mit »TUNING«

einstellen.

5 Frequenz/Kanal mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

– Der Empfangspegel wird angezeigt.

6 Einstellung mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

– Die DAB-Rundfunk-Programme werden in

der Programmliste gespeichert.

FM-Rundfunk-Programme einstellen und speichern – manuell

1 Programmquelle FM mit »MODE/AL« wäh-

len.

2 Programmsuchlauf starten, dazu »SEL/ATS«

länger drücken. – Der Programmsuchlauf startet und stoppt

beim nächsten Programm mit gutem Empfangssignal,

oder

»TUNING« drehen, bis die gewünschte Fre-

quenz erreicht ist.

– Die Frequenz ändert sich jeweils um 50 Hz.

3 Rundfunk-Programm auf einem Programmplatz

speichern, dazu »1/6« bis »5/10« solange drücken, bis »STORED« angezeigt wird.

Für die Programmplätze 6 bis 10 vorher »+ 5«

drücken.

Hinweis:

Wollen Sie nach empfangsschwachen Rundfunk-Programmen suchen dann:

das Menü »SCAN« mit »MENU« aufrufen

und mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

Die Option »DX« mit »TUNING« anwählen

und mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

Auf die normale Empfindlichkeit zurück schalten, dazu die Einstellung wiederholen und die Option »LOCAL« wählen.

Uhrzeit aktualisieren – automatisch

Die Uhrzeit wird automatisch aktualisiert, wenn ein Rundfunk-Programm ein Zeitsignal sendet. Sie können einstellen, ob die Aktualisierung von DAB- oder FM-Programmen durchgeführt werden soll oder Sie können diese Funktion ausschalten.

– Anzeige: z.B. »B5 AKT«.

2 Das Menü mit »MENU« aufrufen. 3 Menüpunkt »SYSTEM« mit »TUNING« wählen

und mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen.

dessen Programm die Uhrzeit überprüft werden soll (Any, DAB oder FM);

keine Aktualisierung stattfinden soll.

len. – Anzeige: »DAB«, danach der Name eines

DAB-Programmes.

Gespeicherte Programme aufrufen

1 Gewünschtes Programm mit den Stationstasten

»1/6« bis »5/10« (Programmplätze 1 bis 5) oder mit »+ 5« und den Stationstasten »1/6« bis »5/10« (Programmplätze 6 bis 10) aufrufen;

oder gewünschtes Programm mit »TUNING« schritt-

weise wählen.

DAB-Programminformationen einblenden

1 Informationen zum aktuellen DAB-Programm

kurzzeitig einblenden, dazu »INFO« wiederholt drücken. – Folgende Informationen werden angezeigt:

Infos vom Programmanbieter (z.B. Titel des aktuellen Stückes, E-Mail-Anschrift), die Signalstärke, das Genre, das (z.B. BR für Bayern), die Frequenz des Programm anbieters, Hinweise auf Signalstörungen (bei optimalen Empfang wird »ERR: 0« angezeigt), die Bit-Rate, der Übertragungsstandart, Uhrzeit und Datum.

Dynamic Range Control (DRC) für DAB-Programme einstellen

Wenn Sie Dynamic Range Control aktivieren, können Sie leise Passagen in einer lauten Umgebung besser hören.

und mit »SEL/ATS« bestätigen. – Anzeige: »DRC OFF«.

3 Option DRC LOW oder DRC HIGH mit

Hinweis:

DRC muss vom jeweiligen DAB-Programm unterstützt werden.

FM-Radio-Betrieb

Für den bestmöglichen FM-Empfang genügt es, die Teleskopantenne herauszuziehen und entsprechend auszurichten.

Programmquelle FM-Radio wählen

1 Programmquelle FM mit »MODE/AL« wäh-

len. – Anzeige: »FM«, danach die Frequenz eines

FM-Programmes.

RDS (Radio-Data-System) ist ein Informationssystem, das zusätzlich von den meisten FM (UKW)-Programmen ausgestrahlt wird.

Hinweise:

Es kann einige Zeit dauern, bis alle RDSInformationen übertragen worden sind.

GRUNDIG hat keinen Einfluss auf die Richtigkeit dieser Informationen.

1 »INFO« wiederholt drücken.

– Die folgenden Informationen werden einge-

blendet:

Der Name des Rundfunk-Programmes, Ra-

diotext (wenn angeboten), der Programmtyp (PTY), die aktuelle Uhrzeit und das Datum.

Mains operation

Check that the mains voltage on the type plate (on the bottom of the device) corresponds to your local mains supply. If this is not the case, contact your specialist dealer.

Note:

If there are batteries in the device, these are switched off automatically during mains operation.

Caution:

The device is connected to the mains with the power cable. Pull out the power cable when you want to completely disconnect the device from the mains.

Unplug the mains plug to disconnect the device from the mains. Make sure the power plug is easily accessible during operation and not hindered by other objects.

Battery operation

You can also operate the device using standard batteries (not supplied). In this case, you must disconnect the mains power cable.

Time indication and alarm time function are not available in battery operation.

AM11, LR 20, D-Size) according to the polarity marked on the battery compartment.

Tuning and storing radio stations (DAB and FM) – first installation

When the device is switched on for the first time or after factory reset, the Auto Tuning System will start to scan the whole DAB bandwidth and store in the program list.

The device will then scan the FM waveband and store the first 10 radio stations as presets 1 to 10.

The time is updated automatically.

1 Press »ON/OFF« to switch on the device.

– Display: »WELCOME« and then »SCAN«.

– The automatic station search starts, searches

and stores the radio stations.

– »FULL« displays that 10 FM radio stations

are stored at the presets.

Setting Dynamic Range Control (DRC) for DAB stations

When you activate Dynamic Range Control, you can hear lower sounds better in a loud environment.

Deleting all settings (Reset)

This function enables you to reset all the custom settings back to the default settings. All setings are lost when you do this.

3 Select the option »RESET« with »TUNING«

and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

Set the display illumination

You can choose to illuminate the display either permanently or only for 10 seconds.

3 Select the option »BACKLITE« with »TUNING«

and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

4 Select the desired option (»10 SEC« or »ON«)

Removing DAB radio stations from the program list

If you move to a different part of the country, you should remove DAB radio stations, which are no longer available from the program list. These DAB radio stations are marked with “?“.

1 Open the menu with »MENU«. 2 Select the option »PRUNE« with »TUNING« and

confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

– A confirmation message is displayed.

3 Select the option »Y« (Yes) with »TUNING«.

Note:

To cancel the function select the option »N« (No) with »TUNING«.

4 Press »SEL/ATS« to confirm setting.

– Display: »RESTART«.

5 Press »MENU« to end the setting.

– In the program list you will find only avail-

able radio stations.

Software Update

You can install the latest version of the software, if available.

1 Connect the device to a PC by means of the

socket located in the battery compartment.

2 Open the menu with »MENU«. 3 Select the option »SYSTEM« with »TUNING«

and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

4 Select the option »UPGRADE« with »TUNING«

and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

– A confirmation message is displayed.

5 Select the option »Y« (Yes) with »TUNING«.

– Display: »WAITING«.

Note:

To cancel the function select the option »N« (No) with »TUNING«.

6 Start the update program on the PC. 7 Once the software is updated successfully, re-

move the device from the PC.

INFORMATIONS RELATIVES A LA SECURITE

Cet appareil est conçu pour la lecture de signaux audio. Son utilisation à d'autres fins est formellement interdite.

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est protégé contre les projections d'eau.

Ne posez pas de récipients contenant des liquides (vases ou autres) sur l’appareil. Ces récipients pourraient se renverser et les liquides s’en écoulant pourraient endommager le système électrique.

Ne posez pas d’objets produisant une flamme nue, comme des bougies, sur l’appareil.

Utilisez l'appareil uniquement à température modérée.

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est parfaitement aéré en le plaçant à environ 10 cm de tout autre objet. N’obstruez pas les fentes d’aération avec des journaux, des nappes, des rideaux, etc.

Si un dysfonctionnement intervient suite à des charges électriques statiques ou de brèves surtensions de secteur, réinitialisez l'appareil. Pour ce faire, débranchez le prise d'alimentation puis rebranchez-la après quelques secondes.

Lors de l’installation de votre appareil, tenez compte du fait que la plupart des meubles sont recouverts de vernis, de peinture ou de matières plastiques et que ces revêtements contiennent des additifs chimiques. Ces additifs peuvent entre autres attaquer le matériau des pieds de votre appareil et laisser ainsi sur les meubles des traces indélébiles ou difficiles à enlever.

N’utilisez pas de détergents, ceux-ci risqueraient d’endommager le boîtier. Nettoyez l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon propre et sec.

Ne jamais ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil. Le fabricant dénie toute responsabilité en cas de dégâts dus à une utilisation incorrecte.

Assurez-vous que la fiche d'alimentation est facile d'accès.

Veuillez remarquer qu'une écoute prolongée à des volumes excessifs avec les écouteurs peut avoir une incidence sur votre capacité auditive.

Le seul moyen de déconnecter complètement l’appareil du secteur est de débrancher la prise.

Fonctionnement sur secteur

Vérifiez que la tension secteur indiquée sur la plaque signalétique (apposée sur la face inférieure de l’appareil) correspond à la tension secteur locale. Si ce n’est pas le cas, veuillez contacter votre revendeur spécialisé.

1 Insérez le câble secteur fourni dans la prise

Remarque :

Si des piles sont incluses dans l'appareil, leur alimentation est automatiquement désactivée lors de l'utilisation sur secteur.

Attention :

L’appareil est relié au secteur par le câble secteur. Débranchez le câble d'alimentation si vous souhaitez déconnecter complètement l'appareil.

Débranchez la fiche d'alimentation pour déconnecter l'appareil du secteur. Assurezvous que la fiche d'alimentation est facilement accessible pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil et n'est entravée par aucun autre objet.

Fonctionnement sur piles

Vous pouvez également faire fonctionner l'appareil à l'aide de piles standard (non fournies). Dans ce cas, vous devez déconnecter le câble d'alimentation.

1 Pour ouvrir le compartiment de la pile, appuyez

sur les emplacements marqués et poussez le couvercle vers le côté.

2 Insérez quatre batteries (4 x 1,5V, Type IEC,

AM11, LR 20, taille D) conformément à la polarité indiquée sur le compartiment des piles.

3 Refermez le compartiment des piles.

Remarques :

»Ä« clignote à l’écran lorsque les piles sont faibles.

Évitez d'exposer les batteries à une chaleur extrême, provoquée par exemple par la lumière directe du soleil, des appareils de chauffage ou une flamme.

Retirez les piles lorsqu'elles sont usagées ou lorsque vous comptez ne pas utiliser l'appareil pendant un certain temps. Lorsque les batteries sont faibles, un symbole de pile s'affiche et clignote à l'écran. Cette fonction ne fonctionne pas lorsque le câble d'alimentation est branché à l'appareil.

Toute responsabilité est écartée pour des dégâts dus à une fuite des piles.

Remarque relative à l'environnement :

Ne jetez pas les piles dans les ordures ménagères, même si elles ne contiennent pas de métaux lourds. Veuillez jeter vos piles usagées de manière respectueuse pour l'environnement. Observez les réglementations légales locales en vigueur.
