CONNECTING THE PHONE:
1. Connect the handset and main phone case with the phone cord;
2. Connect the LAN port of the phone to the RJ-45 socket of a hub/switch or a
router (LAN side of the router) using the Ethernet cable;
3. Connect the 12V DC output plug to the power jack on the phone; plug the power
adapter into an electrical outlet. If PoE switch is used in step 2, this step could be
skipped;
4. The LCD will display booting up or rmware upgrading information. Before continuing, please wait for the main screen display to show up;
5. Using the web conguration interface or from the menu of the touch screen,
you can further congure network connection using either static IP, DHCP and etc.

Installing The Phone Stand:
1. Attach the phone stand to the back of the phone where there is a slot for the
phone stand. Upper part and bottom part are available for two angels;
2. When using the bottom part for phone stand, you may also adjust the tab from
the handset cradle. Pull out the tab from the handset cradle (see Figure in next
page);
3. Rotate the tab and plug it back into the slot with the extension up to hold the
handset.

PHONE CONFIGURATION:
Congure the GXP2200 using Web Browser:
1. Ensure your phone is properly powered up and connected to the Internet;
2. The IP address of the phone will show in the main screen when pressing the
Home button;
3. Type the phone’s IP address in your PC’s browser (See Figure in next page);
4. The default username and password for administrator is “admin” and “admin“.
The default username and password for user is “user“ and “123”;
Congure the GXP2200 using the Touch Screen:
1. Make sure the phone is properly powered up and in idle screen;
2. Tap on the screen Menu icon to access GXP2200’s applications and settings;
3. Select Settings->Advanced Settings->Account. Tap on one of the Account to
congure Account name, SIP Server, Outbound Proxy, SIP User ID, SIP Auth ID,
SIP Auth Password to register the account on GXP2200. After successfully registered, the main screen will be shown as the gure below;
4. Follow the screen Menu icon options to congure other settings on the phone.
For example: To use Static IP on GXP2200, set up IP address via Settings>Networks->Ethernet Settings;
5. Please contact your ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) for additional
settings that may be necessary to congure the phone.
5. In the web GUI, select Account 1/2/3/4/5/6 page to congure Account name, SIP
Server, Outbound Proxy, SIP User ID, Authenticate ID and Authenticate Password
to register the account on GXP2200.

GXP2200 EXTENSION MODULE:
The GXP2200 extension module is an ideal solution for the busy enterprise environment looking to add the ability to receive and dispatch calls efciently. Each extension module has 20 programmable buttons, Left and Right buttons, supporting
40 Multiple Purpose Keys to be congured. GXP2200 supports up to 4 extension
modules, adding 160 fully programmable phone extensions to the phone.
Note: The extension module is an additional accessory for the GXP2200 and is
not included in the GXP2200 box.
GXP2200 Extension Module Package Content:
3. Connect the extension board to GXP2200 via the EXT port using the RJ11-RJ11
cable provided;
4. Install the phone stand on GXP2200 and extension board;
5. Power up the GXP2200. The GXP2200 extension board will show the booting
up screen with version information and connecting status;
6. After successfully booting up, the extension board will stay in idle. Press and

hold the Left button for 3 seconds to check the version information and status.
Conguring GXP2200 Extension Module:
1. Login GXP2200’s web GUI and congure Multiple Purpose Keys for Extension
board 1/2/3/4 following the GXP2200 web GUI tabs;

MPKs’ status in different pages;

Installing GXP2200 Extension Module:

plate. Attach the connector plate between the slots for GXP2200 and the extension board;
2. Apply the screws provided and securely tighten them in (see Figure in the next
