Thank you for purchasing the GE 45238 Decoy Security
Camera. This product is not intended to replace an
actual surveillance system; it can provide the illuson
that a wireless surveillance system is present. It can
also be used to suplement an existing system, providing
a greater security presence. Please review these
instructions carefully before attempting to operate the
device.

CHOOSING A CAMERA MOUNTING LOCATION
The 45238 Decoy Security Camera can be positioned on
a desktop, or mounted to a wall. It is suitable for indoor
or outdoor use. When choosing a mounting location,
please be advised:
• Do not use in wet locations. If using outdoors, position
the decoy camera in a sheltered area.
• Select a location for the decoy camera that is easily
visable by potential intruders, but out of reach.
• Point camera and LED towards the area of concern so
that the flashing light is easily visable.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
1. Separate the battery
pack from the camera.
2. Remove the 4 screws
located on the bottom of
the battery pack.
3. Remove the camera
mounting plate.

4. Install two new "AA" alkaline batteries according to
the polarity markings.
5. Reinstall the mounting plate and screws.
INSTALLATION
Desktop Mount:
1. Place camera in desired location
on a flat surface.
2. Set switch on camera to "ON"
position.
3. Position camera front with
flashing LED so that it is easily
visible.
Wall Mount:
1. Select an ideal location. Using the template
diagram, drill two 3/16” holes in the
desired mounting location, and install
the two wall anchors (included) into
the holes, or screw
directly into a wall
stud. Make
sure the
screw heads
protrude
slightly from
the wall to
allow the camera to
mount.

2. Secure the decoy camera to the wall by fitting the
mounting slots on the back of the camera onto the
screwheads in the wall.
3. Set ON/OFF switch on the battery to "ON" position.
Slide the camera onto the locking pins of the
battery pack.
4. Adjust antenna and camera angle
as desired.

No flashing LED
1. Check battery installation. Make batteries match the
polarity diagrams located in the battery pack.
Caution
Requires 2 "AAA" cells. Observe polarity markings (+), (-).
-Batteries may leak harmful liquids or ignitable materials or explode
causing injury and product damage.
-Do not mix old and new or other battery types.
-Replace all batteries at the same time.
-Replace exhausted batteries immediately.
-Remove batteries if product is to be unused for extended periods
of time.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Jasco Products Company warrants this product
to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the original
date of consumer purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement
of this product only and does not extend to consequential or incidental damage
to other products that may be used with this unit. This warranty is in lieu of all
other warranties express or implied. Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts or permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state. If unit should prove defective within the warranty period,
