Thank you for purchasing the GE 45238 Decoy Security
Camera. This product is not intended to replace an
actual surveillance system; it can provide the illusion
that a wireless surveillance system is present. It
can also be used to supplement an existing system,
providing a greater security presence. Please review
these instructions carefully before attempting to
operate the device.

CHOOSING A CAMERA MOUNTING LOCATION

The 45238 Decoy Security Camera can be positioned on
a desktop, or mounted to a wall. It is suitable for indoor
or outdoor use. When choosing a mounting location,
please be advised:

• Do not use in wet locations. If using outdoors, position
the decoy camera in a sheltered area.

• Select a location for the decoy camera that is easily
visible by potential intruders, but out of reach.

• Point camera and LED towards the area of concern so
that the flashing light is easily visible.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

1. Separate the battery

pack from the camera.

2. Remove the 4 screws

located on the bottom of
the battery pack.

3. Remove the camera

mounting plate.
