Advancements in Digital Technology: Fujifilm
develops its own digital image processing technology
based on a long history of high-quality color film
manufacturing. Known as Advanced Color Technology
(ACT), it preserves rich vibrant colors digitally, which were
previously were available only from a film camera.
Fujifilm also builds the only digital cameras with Super
CCD and High Definition Color Technology, which
capture even more color with razor-sharp imaging and
increased picture detail and size.

Fujifilm digital cameras offer the highest-quality output through innovative new
digital color processing technology. A new High Definition Digital Color Processing
Technology blends digital color enhancements that balance vivid reds, greens, and
blues with the natural colors found in nature, while making full use of the benefits of
Fujifilm Super CCD.

inspired vertical format body, and
Fujifilm’s new 3.3 MegaPixel Super CCD and
newly improved High Definition Color
Technology. The FinePix 6800 Zoom
produces maximum color file image sizes
of 6.0 million pixels (2832 x 2128)! Plus the
FinePix 4800 Zoom produces files at 4.3
million pixels (2400 x 1800)! They also
feature a razor- sharp retractable Fujinon
3X optical Zoom (36–108 mm), and USB­ready PC-Sync cradle, which recharges the
Li-ion battery and tilts for using the FinePix
6800/4800 Zoom as a PC-Cam. The FinePix
6800/4800 Zoom provides creative control
through several manual modes, or it can be
used in its simple point-and-shoot mode.

Built with versatility in mind. A bright F2.8 Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating) Fujinon 6X
(35–210mm) optical Zoom Lens with a 13-step aperture is a big part of that versatility.
It features a 3.3 million sensor Fujifilm Super CCD with a very low base ISO rating, and
Fujifilm's High Definition Color Technology, which turns out color image files with an
eyepopping 6.0 million pixels. Other features include a manual focus ring, aperture or
shutter priority, multiple ISO (100, 200, 400), AE scene modes, two custom white balances,
hot shoe mount, and an electronic mini LCD through-the-lens (TTL) viewfinder (optional
.79X wide-angle lens or a 1.5X telephoto lens with 55 mm filter adapter tube is available).
