Situation:
Audio Diagnostic Test failures seen in the field

This test applies a 50mVpp sine wave to the Audio 1 board.Since it is a relatively low level signal
(compared with the Gain =10 (0.5Vpp), Gain =1 (5Vpp)) it is susceptible to noise. The fault was
diagnosed as due to a high noise contribution from U402 (TL072). Replacing with 1826-3000
(OP275GS) Low Noise Amp solved the problem. This fault does not affect the performance of
the unit.
Solution / Action:
Replace the Modulation Distribution Board (A4) ( 08922-60164) with refurbished board (08922-
69164) The replacement part is an exchange part. Old board must be returned to QMD to receive
the refurbished board.
