ENGINE START/SWITCH-OFF
ENGINE START
Petrol versions
– pull the handbrake – put the gear lever into neutral – press the clutch pedal down to the floor
without pressing the accelerator pedal
– turn the ignition key to START and let it
go the moment the engine starts.
Multijet versions
– pull the handbrake – put the gear lever into neutral – turn the ignition key to ON and wait for glow
plug preheating warning light to turn off – press the clutch pedal down to the floor – turn the ignition key to START and let it
go the moment the engine starts.
ENGINE SWITCH-OFF Versions equipped with key
Switch the engine off by turning the key from position ON to position ACC, then press the key and turn it to position LOCK.
Versions equipped with the Easy Go
Switch the engine off by turning the device from position ON to position ACC, then press and turn it to the LOCK position.
In order to ensure the battery life, a buzzer will, when the driver’s door opens, signal the starting device’s failure to set to the LOCK position.

Locking/unlocking all doors from the passenger’s compartment
To lock: press the button on the front part. To unlock: press the button on the rear part.

Locking/unlocking one door from the passenger’s compartment
To lock: turn the knob forward. To unlock: turn the knob in opposite direction.
DOORS
Opening from the outside with the key
Fit the key and turn it towards the front side of the vehicle.
Locking from the outside with the key
To lock one of the front doors, fit the key and turn it towards the back of the vehicle.

DEAD LOCK
When the dead lock device is ON, the door opening buttons are disabled.
Engaging the dead lock device with the key
Fit the key into the driver’s door lock and turn the key twice towards the back of the vehicle within 3 seconds.
Disengaging the dead lock device with the key
To unlock the driver’s door only, fit the key into the driver’s door lock and turn it once towards the front side of the vehicle.
To unlock all the doors turn the key twice to­wards the front side of the vehicle.
Connecting the device with the remote control

press the button twice within 3 seconds
Disconnecting the device with the remote control

to unlock the driver’s door only, press the button once
to unlock the other doors, press the button again.
Opening/closing doors with Easy Go
When the remote control is in the proper working range the doors can be opened or closed by pressing the button on the handle of the driver’s door, front passenger’s door or tailgate.
To lock all the doors, press once the button located on one of the doors or tailgate han­dles.

Adjustment
To move the seat backwards or forwards: raise lever A and push the seat forwards or back­wards.
Height adjustment: raise or lower the lever B. Back rest angle adjustment: raise lever C and
move the backrest.

To open the tailgate, press and keep the open­ing device a pressed and raise the tailgate.

To raise: raise the head restraint. To lower: press button A and lower the head

To fasten: take hold the tongue A and insert it into the buckle B, until hearing the locking click.
To unfasten: press button C.

Driving mirror
Adjust the mirror by hand. Normal or antiglare position: use lever A.

ESP SYSTEM
Switch-off
Press the “ESP OFF” button and keep it de­pressed until the “ESP OFF” warning light (available on the board) comes on.
Re-actuation
To switch the system on again, press the “ESP OFF” button and keep it depressed un­til the “ESP OFF” warning light goes out.

Only refuel with unleaded petrol with octane rating not less than 95 R.O.N. (EN228 speci­fication).
Multijet versions
Only refuel with diesel fuel for motor vehicles (EN590 specification).

– open the fuel lid by pulling lever A – slacken the cap B slowly – to refit it, turn it clockwise and tighten it un-
til hearing the locking click.

Set in the following sequence: Address, Place, Street, Street number, Calculate route.
