Handle flood light with care.
Device may gener­ate heat that increases the risk of fire and explo­sions.
Never use the device in potentially explosive environments

Do not cover the device when switched on.
The device heats up during operation and can burn the surface of the skin.
Warning against harmful light radiation. Do not look into the light beam for long periods. Do not direct the light beam towards other people or animals.
According to DIN EN 62471 the device is safe under most usages, except when exposing the eye directly to the light beam for extended pe­riods of time.
Have your device repaired by qualified special­ist staff and always use original spare parts to
ensure that your device operates reliably.
The luminaire built into this device may only be re­placed by the manufacturer. Hereby the continu­ing safety of the device is safeguarded.
Always use original Festool parts for repair and maintenance.
The use of incompatible accesso­ries or spare parts can result in electric shocks or other injuries.
– Check the plug and the cable regularly and
should either become damaged, in order to avoid a hazard, have them replaced by an authorised after-sales service workshop.
When setting up the device provide for stable positioning or firm suspension.

Intended use
Floodlight is intended for illumination of construc­tion sites, work areas, garages and the like. The electrical safety of the power source must be safe­guarded.

The power plug of the device may not be plugged in in a moist environment, as it does not feature a proofing against dampness.

Temperature surveillance
To avoid exceeding the temperature limit, the de­vice regulates its brightness according to respec­tive temperature levels.
Measures for restoring luminosity:

Remove cause of overtemperature (i. e. ob­structed air vents).
Luminosity will be adjusted according to tempera­ture.
Setup
Always set up device with stand to keep air vents air accessible

Place on dry, even and stable surface. Do not sus­pend device from its power cord. Electrical hazards by overstraining the power cord may occur. Prevent obstruction of the cooling slits on top and bottom of the machine.

Do not affix device to vertical surfaces (walls etc.) as this significantly reduces the cooling performance of the air vents.
