MULTIPLECLIENT ACCESS WITH
HYBRID CONNECTION ARCHITECTURE

Based on the SAN architecture and perfectly adapted for any
type of broadcast infrastructure, EVS central storage allows
different types of users to connect to the storage cluster with no
risk of failure or bandwidth saturation. The system is designed
to support simultaneous Fiber Chanel and Ethernet access to
the stored material. The SAN solution proposed by EVS is tuned
to guarantee reliable playout under all circumstances.

CENTRAL ACCESS
TO MEDIA

Because of its centralized
architecture, the EVS
solution allows all clients
and operators to access and
retrieve any media located on
the SAN, through any of the
available links (Fiber Channel
or Ethernet), without having
to copy the requested media
files locally prior to use.
This centralisation brings
the customer’s company
closer together, allowing
its teams to collaborate on
the same shared-media
in a unified way, which
reduces the amount of
different versions of clips,
which in turn reduces the cost
of production.
