POWER SOURCES
1. Rechargeable battery pack (included).
2. USB port (USB cord not included).
3. Solar power panel.
• Plug a USB cord into the USB socket. Charging starts immediately.
• Turn the crank for about 90 seconds.
• The solar power adapter charges it automatically.
Plug the cord into the USB socket. Once plugged in, the USB cord acts as a charger, charging the internal Ni-MH battery pack. Charge it for 8 hours to achieve a full charge
Because cell phone batteries vary in their current rat­ings, we cannot specify charging rates or usage time. 10 to 15 minutes of cranking may result in 1 or more minutes of talk-time.

1. Set POWER/VOLUME control to OFF position.
2. Plug the cell phone charging cord into the Phone Charge socket.
3. Select the correct charging tip for your phone.
4. Plug charging tip into the charging cord and into the phone’s charging socket.
5. Rotate the dynamo crank about 2 turns per second.
Turn it on with the POWER/VOLUME control. To turn it off, set POWER/VOLUME control to OFF.
Set POWER/VOLUME control to desired level.
1. Select AM, FM or Shortwave I or II with the band selector switch. For FM and Shortwave, fully extend the telescopic antenna.
2. Adjust the volume with the POWER/VOLUME control.
3. Tune stations with the TUNING knob.

USING THE LIGHT
Listen at night in the 49 meter band, 5.8-6.2 MHz; the 41 meter band, 7.1-7.6 MHz; the 31 meter band, 9.4-10 MHz; and 25 meter band, 11.6-12.2 MHz. You can also listen to the 25 meter band during the daytime in the early morning and late afternoon.
Turn on the light with the light switch on the top of the unit.
Plug in earphones (not included). Sound is heard from both sides in monaural.

service is required, the technical staff will instruct how to proceed based on whether the radio is still under warranty or needs non-warranty service.
WARRANTY – If your product is still in warranty and the Etón service representative determines warranty service is needed, a return authorization will be issued and instructions will be given. DO NOT ship your radio back without obtaining the return authorization.
NON-WARRANTY – If your product is no longer under warranty and requires service, the Etón service rep­resentative will refer you to the nearest repair facility that will best handle the repair.
For service outside North America, please refer to the distributor information included at time of purchase/
receipt.

SOURCES D’ALIMENTATION
1. Bloc-pile rechargeable (fourni).
2. Port d’USB (corde d’USB non incluse).
3. Adaptateur solaire.
• Branchez une corde d’USB au plot d’USB. Le proces­sus de recharge commence immédiatement.
• Tournez la manivelle pendant environ 90 secondes.
• L’adaptateur solaire recharge la radio automatique­ment.
Branchez la corde au plot d’USB. Une fois que branchée, la corde d’USB agit en tant que chargeur, chargeant le paquet interne de la batterie Ni-MH. Rechargez-le pen­dant 8 heures an d’effectuer une recharge complète.

1. Placez le bouton POWER/VOLUME en position OFF.
2. Branchez le câble de recharge du téléphone portable dans la prise destinée à la recharge du téléphone.
3. Sélectionnez l’embout de recharge approprié à votre téléphone.
4. Connectez l’embout de recharge avec le câble de recharge et la prise de recharge du téléphone.
5. Faites tourner la dynamo environ 2 fois par secondes.
Allumez la radio avec le bouton POWER/VOLUME. Pour éteindre la radio, placez le bouton POWER/VOLUME sur OFF.
Placez le bouton POWER/VOLUME au niveau désiré.
