These instructions relate ONLY to this product and contain important information for using the product for the first time. Please keep these instructions for later reference and should always accompany the product in the event of transference to a new user.

1. Introduction
Dear Costumer, Thank you for purchasing the solar light. With this solar light you purcha­sed a product manufactured according to the current state of technology.
This product fulfils all requirements of the valid European and natio­nal regulations. The conformity was proved. The relevant declarati­ons and documentation are deposited with the manufacturer.
To maintain this state and guarantee a safe operation, you as the user will have to follow this operating manual!

5. Battery replacement
Battery capacity will be lower after one or two years requiring replace­ment. The battery is available from the manufacturer and other suppliers. Only batteries of identical design must be used.

Due to safety and admission reasons (CE) it is not allowed to arbitrarily reconstruct and/or change the solar light. Therefore, please keep to the operating manual. The accident prevention rules of the association of the industrial trade cooperative association for electric plants and working material are to be considered in industrial environments.

3. Intended use
The LED lights will automatically switch on in the dark and switch off at daybreak. The maximum illumination time is about 10 hours with a full battery without re-charging. The solar module integrated into the upper part of the assembly recharges the integrated battery. The LED lights can be switched on and off with a switch. The lights are intended for exterior use. The LEDs must not be submerged into water (ponds, etc.).
Note: The solar module oriented towards the South and exposed to the sun without shade, if possible. The product cannot be used when expo­sed to the North. In wintertime, care should be taken to keep the module free from snow.
4. Operation
Carefully remove the parts from the packaging and lay the LED lights
1. as a line. The lights must not be permanently submerged into water (ponds, etc.). However, they are intended for exterior use and insensi­tive to rain or snow
3. Switch the slide switch on the bottom of the assembly into the ”ON” position. The LED lights are now switched on.
Note: In the “OFF” position, the LED lights are switched of ry will not be recharged in this position.
4. Stick the assembly into the ground or flowerpot using the ground
The solar LED lights are activated now.
Note: The maximum illumination time in wintertime is normally somewhat reduced. Should the solar lights not illuminate in the first eve ning, wait for a sunny day.

1. Remove the lower part of the assembly (Figure 1).
2. Remove the battery from the support.
3. Insert the new battery ensuring proper polarity. Close the assembly.
Note: Used batteries should be disposed of environmentally friendly, i.e. not as a part of domestic waste. Return them to the supplier, who is obli­gated by law to take them back.
6. Malfunctions
- Lamp is not automatically switched on at darkness
- An outside light source (e.g. streetlight) simulates daylight and pre­vents the lamp from switching on. Place the lamp at a darker location.

- Accumulator weak or defective. Exchange of the accumulators.
7. Specifications

- Battery: NiMh 1.2 V/600 mAh
- Illuminating units: white LEDs
- Illumination time: max. 10 h with a full battery
Battery take-back
- Batteries must not be discarded into domestic waste.
- The consumer is legally required to return batteries after use, e.g. to public collecting centers or to batte­ry distributors.
- Contaminant-containing batteries are labeled with the sign “crossed-out trashcan“ and one of the che mical symbols Cd (= battery contains cadmium), Hg (= battery contains mercury), Pb (= battery contains lead). Used batteries should be disposed environmentally friendly and should not be discarded into domestic waste. Your dealer is legally required to take back old batteries.
