3. Intended Use
Universal LED-lighting system to be used in the garden, for leisure activities and camping. The LED-light is mounted inside a room (or tent) and the powerful solar module is mounted within reach of the cable at a shadow-free, sunny place outside. The bat­teries inside the light are charged when the sun shines. Via a cord switch, the lighting may be switched on in two levels. The operating time of the LEDs amounts to up to 8 hours, depending on the switch setting.
Note: Please make sure that the solar module is installed on a shadow-free south-, east- or west side. The product cannot be used if installed on north sides, under bushes or similar. In winter, the solar module shall always be free of snow.
4. Initiation
1. Please carefully take all parts out of the package.
2. Install the light on a wall using the enclosed screws (insert the screws in the slots on the back of the light). Please make sure that you are always able to safely and comfortably reach the cord switch.
3. Now, mount the solar module within reach of the cable on a wall, floor, pole, bar or similar.
Note: Please make sure that the solar module is installed on a shadow-free south-, east- or west side. The product cannot be used if installed on north sides, under trees or similar. In winter, the solar module shall always be free of snow.
4. Now, connect the cable on the solar module with the light and insert the plug into the socket of the light. The charge control LED will flash if the solar module is exposed to the sun.
5. Switch the toggle switch (main switch) on the light to the position “I”. The light is activated!
6. The light may now be operated in two levels. This is done via the cord switch.
Note: During the winter months the duration of illumination will generally be shorter. If the lamp should not yet start working on the first evening, please wait for a sunny day.
. Exchange of the rechargeable batteries

h local retailer or from the manufacturer. The battery type used is the following:

position “O” and disconnect the socket from the cable of the solar module.

. Open the cover on the back side of the light by

unscrewing the two screws.
4. Remove all rechargeable batteries from the racket.

. Re-insert the new rechargeable battery with

correct polarity and re-assemble the light in reverse order.

Battery take-back
- Batteries must not be discarded into domestic waste.
- The consumer is legally required to return batteries after use, e.g. to public collecting centers or to battery distribu­tors.
- Contaminant-containing batteries are labeled with the sign “crossed-out trashcan“ and one of the chemical symbols. Used batteries should be disposed environmentally friend­ly and should not be discarded into domestic waste. Your dealer is legally required to take back old batteries.
Rechargeable battery notes
- Rechargeable batteries should not be played with by children. Never leave rechar­geable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by children or pets.
- Rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into fire. This leads to a danger of explosion!
- Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns when they come into contact with skin. For this reason, please make use of suitable protecti­ve gloves.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be replaced by structurally identical recharge­able batteries from the same manufacturer. Normal batteries must not be used since these are not rechargeable.
- Make sure the rechargeable batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
- For long periods of time of non-use (for example, storage), remove the inserted rechargeable batteries to avoid damages via the leaking rechargeable batteries.
