Never leave the battery where the temperature may becom e above 60°C {140°F} such as in
a car parked in the sun or under direct sunlight . This may cause fire, explosion, leakage,

Do not directly solder the battery, and do not disasse mble or modify it. This may cause fire,
explosion, leakage, overheating or damage.
Do not connect the t erminals together. This ma y cause fire, explosion, l eakage, overheating
or damage.
Do not connect the battery directly to a power outlet or the cigarette lighter of an
automobile. This may cause fire, explosi on, leakage, overheating or damage.
If you cannot insert the battery smoot hly, do not force it. This may cause fire, explosion,
leakage, overheating or damage.
If any liquid from the battery gets into your eyes, promptly wash it out with clean water for
more than 10 minutes and consult your doctor at once. If you do not, the liquid may cause
loss of eyesight.
Do not crush. Do not crush the battery or puncture it with a pointed object such as a nail.
These may cause fire, explosio n, leakage, overheating or damage due to internal shortcircuit and heat generation of the battery.
WARNING:
Keep the battery out of the reach of children to avoid harm to the children.
Do not use the battery with equipment other than TM-P60II printer, TM-P80 printer, or
OT-CH60II battery charger. Doi ng so may cause fire, explosion, leakage, over heating or
other damage.
Unplug the charger if charging is still incomplete after the specified time it should take.
Continuing to charge the battery may cause fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or damage.
Do not expose the battery to water. Do not allow water to contact the terminals. This may
cause fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or damage.
Do not hit or throw the battery. Th is may cause fire, explosion, leakage, ove rheating or
damage.
Do not use the battery if you find something wrong with it such as leakage, color change or
deformity. Using the charger may cause fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or damage.
Keep the battery away from fire or flame if it produces a strange odor or lea kage. Otherwise
fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or damage may occu r.
Should any battery liquid get on skin or clothing, promptly wash it off with clean water. If
you do not, the liquid may damage your skin or clothing.
Do not short the terminals with any metal objects such as a necklace. This may cause fire,
explosion, leakage, overheating or damage, which lead to burn or inj ury.
CAUTION:
Before using the battery, make sure that its terminals are clean without any forei gn
substance on them. Dirt and foreign sub stance on the terminals may cause fire, explosion,
leakage, overheating or damage.
Do not touch the b attery right after u sing it for a long ti me. It will be hot and may burn you.
Be sure to attach the battery cover after removing this product from the printer or the
battery charger. If this product is left without the battery cover, foreign substances may stick
on the terminals, causing fire, explosion, leakage, o verheating or damage.

Notes on Using the Battery
❏ See the User’s Manual of the printer or battery charger for recharging procedures and recharging time.
❏ Take care not to allow dust or dirt into the terminals and keep the terminals clean. Completely remove any
accumulated dust in the terminals without damaging them; then attach and remove the battery a few times.
❏ The battery is discharged gradually even if it is not used.
❏ To prevent performance degradation of the battery, keep it away from direct sunshine, high temperature,
and high humidity and store it in a cool place. Charge it only when the temperature is 10 to 30°C {50 to
86°F}.
❏ At lower temperatures, below 10°C {50°F}, the available battery life becomes short.
Note: Charging while some capacity remains does not affect the original capacity.
If the battery life is remarkably short, the battery may have expired. You should replace the battery with a
new one.
❏ There is a mark in the shape of the battery terminal on the the battery cover. You can use this mark for
distinguishing between charged batteries and uncharged ones by placing it right side up for charged ones
and upside down for uncharged ones.

Wenn die Batterie einen eigenartigen Geruch entwickelt oder ausläuft, von Feuer und

VORSICHT:

dem Drucker oder dem Akkuladegerät genommen wird. Wenn dieses Produkt ohne
Akkuabdeckung gelassen wird, könn en sich fremde Stoffe an den Anschlüssen festset zen,
was zum Brand, zur Explosion, zum Auslaufen, zur Überhitzung oder zum Schaden führt.

Anmerkung zur Benutzung des Akkus

Achten Sie darauf, dass sich kein Staub oder Schmutz an den Anschlüssen festsetzen kann und dass die
Anschlüsse sauber bleiben. Entfernen Sie jeglichen angesammelten Staub vollkommen von den Anschlüssen,
ohne sie zu beschäd igen, dann bringe n Sie den Akku ein paar Mal an und entfernen ih n wieder.
❏ Die Batterie entlädt sich bei Nichtgebrauch langsam von selbst.

Um eine Leistungsverschlechteru ng des Akkus zu vermeiden, darf er nicht direkt em Sonnenlicht, hohen
Temperaturen und hoher Feuchte ausg esetzt werden und er ist an einem kühlen Ort aufzu bewahren. Nur
laden, wenn die Temperatur zwischen 10 und 30°C { 50 bis 86°F} beträgt.
❏ Bei niedrigeren Temperaturen, unter 10°C {50°F}, sind Einbußen bei der Batteriebetriebsdauer zu
verzeichnen.
Hinweis: Die ursprüngliche Kapazität wird nicht beeinträchtigt, wenn die Batterie trotz vorhandener
Restkapazität aufgeladen wird.
Wenn die Batterielebensdauer merklich kürzer geworden ist, sollte die Batterie gegen eine neue ausgewechselt
und entsorgt werden.
❏ Es gibt eine Markierung in der Form einer Akkuanschlussklemme auf der Akkuabdeckung. Sie können
diese Markierung benutzen, um zwischen geladenen und ungeladenen Akkus zu unterscheiden, indem Sie
die richtige Seite bei geladenen Akkus nach oben und bei ungeladenen Akkus verkehrt herum stellen.

Gebruik de batterij niet al s u ziet dat er iets mis is, zoals lekkage, kleurver andering of

Houd de batterij van open vuur vandaan als hij sterk gaat ruiken of lekt. Ander s kan er

Spoel batterijvloeistof als die op de huid of kleding terechtkomt meteen met schoon water

LET OP:

Opmerkingen over het gebruik van de batterij
❏ Zie de gebruikershandleiding van de printer of de batterijlader voor de oplaadprocedures en oplaadtijd.
❏ Pas op dat er geen stof of vuil in de polen terecht komt en houd de polen schoon. Verwijder al het
opgehoopte stof van de polen zonder deze te beschadigen en plaats en verwijder de batterij vervolgens enige
malen.
❏ De batterij loopt langzaam leeg, zelfs als hij niet gebruikt wordt.
❏ Om teruglopende prestaties van de batterij te voorkomen, moet u deze uit de buurt houden van direct
zonlicht, hoge temperaturen en hoge luchtvochtigheid en opbergen in een koele ruimte. Laad de batterij
alleen op bij een temperatuur van 10 tot 30°C {50 tot 86°F}.
❏ Bij een lage temperatuur (minder dan 10°C {50°F}) neemt de levensduur van de batterij af.
NB: Laden terwijl de batterij nog gedeeltelijk geladen is, is niet van invloed op het oorspronkelijke
laadvermogen.
Als de batterijlading nog maar zeer kort meegaat, kan dat betekenen dat de batterij zijn levensduur bereikt heeft.
Vervang de batterij in dat geval door een nieuwe.
❏ Er staat een merkteken in de vorm van een batterijpool op de batterijkap. U kunt dit merkteken gebruiken
om onderscheid te maken tussen opgeladen en lege batterijen. Dit kunt u doen door het met de rechterkant
omhoog te leggen voor opgeladen batterijen en ondersteboven voor lege batterijen.

Remarques sur l’utilisation des accus
❏ Consulter le manuel de l’utilisateur de l’imprimante ou du chargeur pour les procédures de recharge et la
durée de recharge.
❏ Veillez à ne pas laisser de poussière ni de saleté pénétrer dans les bornes et à ce que les bornes restent bien
propres. Nettoyer soigneusement toute saleté qui se serait déposée dans les bornes sans les endommager,
puis posez et enlevez les accus à plusieurs reprises.
❏ Les accus se déchargent graduellement, même lorsqu’ils ne sont pas utilisés.
❏ Pour éviter la dégradation des performances de la batterie, conservez cette dernière dans un lieu frais à l'abri
de la lumière directe du soleil, des températures élevées et de l'humidité élevée. Ne chargez la batterie que
lorsque la température est comprise entre 10 et 30°C {50 et 86°F}.
❏ Aux températures inférieures à 10°C {50°F}, la durée de service des accus est abrégée.
Remarque : Le fait de recharger les accus avant qu'ils ne soient totalement déchargés ne réduit pas leur
capacité initiale.
Si la durée de fonctionnement des accus devient très brève, il se peut qu'ils soient arrivés au terme de leur cycle
de vie. Il faut alors les remplacer par des accus neufs.

Non lasciare mai la batteria dove la temperatura può superare 60°C {140°F}, come ad
esempio in un autoveicolo parcheggia to al sole, o esposta direttamente al sole. Ciò può
causare incendio, esplosione, perdita, surriscaldamento o danno.
Non saldare direttam ente la batteria, né s montarla o modificarla. Ciò può causare incendio,
esplosione, perdita, surriscaldame nto o danno.
Non collegare insieme i morsetti. Ciò può causare incendio, esplosione, perdita,
surriscaldamento o danno.
Non collegare la batteria direttamente ad una presa di corrente o all'accendino di un
autoveicolo. Ciò può causare incendio, esplosione, perdita, surriscaldamento o da nno.
Se non si riesce ad inserire la batteria facilmente, non forzare. Ciò può causare incen dio,
esplosione, perdita, surriscaldame nto o danno.
Se un liquido della batteria viene a contatto con gli occhi, lavare immediatamente con
acqua pulita per oltre 10 minuti e consultar e subito un medico. In caso contrario, il liquido
può causare cecità.
Non schiacciare. Non schiacciare la batteria né forarla co n un oggetto appuntito come un
chiodo. Così facendo si potrebbe causare un incendio, un’esplosione, perdite,
surriscaldamento o danni dovuti a corto circ uito interno e alla generazione di calore della
batteria.
AVVERTENZA:
Per la sicurezza dei bambini, tenere la batteria lontano dalla loro portata.
Non usare la batteria con apparecchiature diverse dalla stampante TM-P60II, dalla
stampante TM-P80 o dal caricabatteria O T-CH60II. Così facendo si potrebbe causa re
incendio, esplosione, perdite, su rriscaldamento o altro danno.
Scollegare il caricabatteria se, al term ine del periodo prescritto per la carica, questa risulta
incompleta. Continuare a caricare la batteria può causare incendio, esplosione, perdite,
surriscaldamento o altro danno.
Non esporre la batter ia all’acqua. Evitare che l’acq ua tocchi i morsetti. Ci ò può causare
incendio, esplosione, perdita, surriscaldamento o danno.
Non colpire o scaraventare la batteria. Ciò può causare incendio, esplosione, perdita,
surriscaldamento o danno.
Non usare la bat teria se si nota qualc he segno di anormal ità, quale perdita, cambio di colore
o deformità. L’uso del caricabatteria può causare incendio, esplosione, perdite,
surriscaldamento o altro danno.
Tenere la batteria lontano da fu oco o fiamma, se produce un od ore strano o una perdita. Ciò
potrebbe dar luogo ad un incendio, esplosione, perdite , surriscaldamento o altro danno.
Se il liquido della batteria viene a contatto con la pelle o con l'abbigliamento, lavare
immediatamente con acqua pulita. In caso co ntrario, il liquido può danneggiare la pelle o
l'abbigliamento.
Non cortocircuitare i morsetti con un oggetto metallico, quale una collana. Ciò può causare
un incendio, esplosione, perdite, surriscaldamento o altro danno, che può a sua volta
causare ustioni o infortunio.
ATTENZIONE:
Prima di usare la batter ia, accertarsi che i mors etti siano puliti e privi di sostanze estranee al
di sopra. La presenza di sporcizia e sostan ze estranee sui morsetti può causare un incend io,
esplosione, perdite, surriscaldame nto o altro danno.
Non toccare la batteria subito dopo averla usata per molto tempo. La batteria sarà molto
calda e può causare ustioni.
Assicurarsi di fissare il coperchio della bat teria dopo aver rimosso il prodotto dalla
stampante o dal caricabatteria. Se questo prodotto viene lasciato senza il coperchio della
batteria, sostanze estranee potrebbero aderire ai morsetti, causando un incendio,
esplosione, perdite, surriscaldame nto o altro danno.

Eliminare le batterie usate seguendo le istruzioni fornite.
Note sull’uso della batteria
❏ Consultare il Manuale d’uso della stampante o del caricabatteria per le modalità di ricarica e il tempo di
ricarica.
❏ Prestare attenzione affinché polvere o sporco non entrino nei morsetti e mantenere puliti i morsetti.
Rimuovere completamente tutta la polvere accumulata nei morsetti senza danneggiarli; quindi, collegare e
rimuovere alcune volte la batteria.
❏ La batteria si scarica gradualmente anche se non viene usata.
❏ Per impedire un calo delle prestazioni della batteria, tenerla lontano dalla luce solare diretta, da temperatura
e umidità elevate e conservarla in un luogo fresco. Caricarla soltanto quando la temperatura è compresa tra
10 e 30°C {50-86°F}.
❏ A temperatura più basse, inferiori a 10°C {50°F}, la vita rimanente della batteria si riduce.
Nota:
caricare la batteria quando questa contiene ancora della carica non influisce sulla capacità originale.
Se la vita della batteria è notevolmente breve, può darsi che la batteria sia scaduta. Sostituirla con una nuova.
❏ Sul coperchio della batteria è presente un segno a forma del terminale della batteria. Si può utilizzare questo
segno per distinguere tra le batterie cariche e quelle scariche posizionandolo per il verso giusto per quelle
caricate e all’incontrario per quelle scariche.
