Before using the battery pack,
please read these instructions carefully.

CAUTION

Be sure to observe the following.

• May cause fire and burn hazard, if mistreated.

• Do not open, convert or incinerate the battery pack.

• Keep the battery pack dry.

• To prevent accident from a short circuit, do not allow
metal objects to come into contact with the battery
terminals.

• Do not expose the battery pack to any mechanical
shock.

• Only fit the battery pack in the equipment specified in
the user manual.

• Use only the specified equipment.

• Never leave the battery pack under temperatures
above 60°C (140°F), such as in a car parked in the sun
or under direct sunlight.

• Dispose of used battery pack promptly.

• Keep away from children until ready to use.

Before using

• Refer to the IR Series Users’ Manual or the Developers’
Guide for details on recharging batteries and the
recharging time.

• When carrying or storing the battery pack, attach it to
the specified equipment.

• Use this battery fully charged. If the battery isn’t
charged fully, the period while the battery can hold
shortens. It takes about 32 hours to rechage it fully.

If the battery life is remarkably short, the battery pack
may have expired. You should replace the battery pack
with a new one.

Beachten Sie stets folgendes:

• Halten Sie den Akku von Feuer fern.

• Achten Sie darauf, daß der Akku keiner Feuchtigkeit
ausgesetzt ist.

• Versuchen Sie nicht, den Akku
auseinanderzunehmen und nehmen Sie keine
Anderungen am Akku vor.

• Achten Sie sorggältig darauf, daß die Kontakte des
Akkus nicht mit Metallgegenständen in Berührung
kommen. Durch Kurzschlüsse können Unfälle
verursacht werden.

• Stoßen Sie den Akku nirgends an.

• Die Akkubatterie nur für die Geräte verwenden, die in
der Bedienungsanleitung angegeben sind.

• Verwenden Sie nur vorgeschriebene
Ausrüstungsteile.

• Setzen Sie den Akku keinen Temperaturen über
60°C aus. Lassen Sie ihn auch nicht in einem in der
Sonne geparkten Wagen zurück.

Vor dem Betrieb

• Beziehen Sie sich für Einzelheiten zur Batterieladung
und zur Ladezeit auf die Bedienungsanleitung für die
Serie IR oder auf den Leitfaden fur Entwickler.

• Bei Nichtverwendung oder Transport des Akkus bringen
Sie ihn an der beschriebenen Ausrüstung an oder
verwenden Sie die beim Akku mitgelieferte
Anschlußabdeckung.

Wenn der Akku nur noch eine relativ kurze Betriebzeit
ermöglicht, wechseln Sie ihn gegen einen neuen aus.

Osservare quanto segue.
