Dear Customer, Before operating the electric stapler for the first time,
please read these instructions and observe the information provided with regard to its operation and maintenance. Please keep these instructions near the tool at all times.

Please note: Wear proper protective clothing, especially safety goggles, whenever you work with the stapler. Please observe the safety instructions.
3. Proper use
The electric stapler is designed for tacking and fastening textiles, leather and wood with suitable staples and nails. The electric stapler is designed for temporary operation. It heats up when operated continuously. This increasing heat reduces the performance of the stapler. If the electric stapler begins to heat up, turn it off and allow it to cool down.
CAUTION! For your own safety, use only the staples and nails indicated in these operating instructions. Using other staples and nails can create an injury hazard. Always disconnect the tool from the power supply when it is not being used and before beginning maintenance work or refilling staples or nails!
4. Putting into operation
• Inserting the staples, figures 1-3
Switch the electric stapler off and remove the power plug from the wall socket.
Press the magazine lock and push it downward (figure 1).
Pull the magazine pusher back and out of the stapler (figure 2).

Fill the magazine with staples or nails. The magazine holds max. 120 staples (figure 3).
Reassemble the stapler by carrying out the above steps in reverse order. Insert the magazine pusher and push it to the stop. Press the magazine lock upward until it locks into place.
• Operation
The safety locks the ON/OFF switch to prevent inadvertent operation (figure 4 shows the positions).
To lock the ON/OFF switch push the safety slide to the left. To release the ON/OFF switch push the safety slide to the right.
The integrated safety prevents inadvertent triggering of the electric stapler.
Therefore, the stapler can only be triggered as follows:
Apply the nosepiece of the electric stapler to the material and press the ON/OFF switch.
Using staples
Fill the staples into the magazine as shown in figure
5.
Using nails
Fill the nails into the magazine as shown in figure 6.
Tacking textiles, fabrics, leather, etc.
Apply the nosepiece of the electric stapler to the desired position on the object to be stapled and press the ON/OFF switch.
Tacking strips of wood
Use only nails for tacking strips of wood (trim, etc.). Do not apply the electric stapler to the wood strip too firmly as this could result in damage to the wood surface.

5. Care and maintenance
By observing the care and maintenance instructions, you canensure a long useful life and trouble-free operation of this quality tool.
Examine the magazine before beginning work and ensure that it fits securely. Clean the tool thoroughly immediately after use.
Staples can become jammed, especially if the electric stapler is applied at an angle.
If this happens, immediately switch the electric stapler off and remove the power plug from wall socket.
Caution: Always pull the plug out of the mains socket before beginning any work on the electric stapler!
• Removing jammed staples
To remove jammed staples you must first take the entire magazine out of the stapler. First, pull out the retaining pin as shown (figure 7).
You can then take out the entire magazine (figure 8). Use a suitable set of pliers to carefully remove the jammed staples.
Reassemble the stapler by carrying out the above steps in reverse order.
Before putting the stapler into operation again, be sure that the magazine is inserted properly and securely and that the retaining pin is passed completely through the hole.
