L’intuizione alla base dello sviluppo della serie Eden 500 nasce dall’esigenza degli acquariofili più esperti di disporre di un filtro compatto e di dimensioni ridotte da installare in spazi ristretti. Il successo mondiale del filtro Eden 501, nato inizialmente come
canister per piccole vasche per il mercato Giapponese e in seguito per le tartarughiere negli Stai Uniti, e del suo fratello maggiore Eden 511 (anche nella versione con riscaldatore 425 da 100W) ha alfine condotto al completamento della gamma con l’aggiunta di 2 nuovi modelli presentati in anteprima mondiale alla fiera di Interzoo 2010. Le prestazioni delle pompe utilizzate con le loro strutture compatte e la loro silenziosità, unite a l’abbondante dotazione degli accessori e dei materiali filtranti forniti, rendono questi filtri unici nel mercato e ne consentono l’installazione ideale in vasche fino a 250 l.
Fornita completa di sistema di aspirazione, di tubi e raccordi di collegamento nonché di sistema di mandata con spray-bar, per un migliore scambio superficiale, oppure con deflettore per il
direzionamento dell’acqua a piacere, la serie Eden 500 è composta di filtri professionali a tutti gli effetti, utilizzabili sia in acquari di acqua dolce che marina.
La forma e le dimensioni, uniche nel loro genere, facilitano l’installazione di fianco e dietro l’acquario, nei modelli più piccoli, particolarmente adatti in spazi ristretti o in piccoli appartamenti. I motori, completamente sigillati e termo-protetti, garantiscono la proverbiale massima silenziosità dei prodotti Eden, assieme all’affidabilità di funzionamento, ai bassi consumi e offrono le
prestazioni ideali per un corretto funzionamento del filtro al volume dell’acquario.
Altra particolare caratteristica di questa serie di filtri esterni è l’originale meccanismo di distacco dei tubi con controllo integrato di portata, che rende l’installazione e la pulizia estremamente semplice e sicura, in quanto non c’è assolutamente rischio di fuoriuscita di acqua durante tali operazioni. Il sistema facilitato di apertura della testa filtro e la chiusura di sicurezza rendono questi filtri esterni tra i più sicuri nel mercato.
Dotati di doppio sistema filtrante con ricircolo biologico, auto innescanti tramite tappo per il riempimento del vano filtrante, sono estremamente silenziosi grazie anche all’utilizzo di piedini in gomma che ne favoriscono la stabilità ed evitano il contatto diretto con le superfici di appoggio.
Il design compatto e salva spazio di tutti i modelli rende questi filtri tra i più apprezzati e utilizzati dagli esperti acquariofili di tutto il mondo.
La serie 500 è disponibile anche con un kit che permette di montare all’interno di una delle camere di filtraggio un riscaldatore EDEN 425, consentendo così di creare un unico prodotto integrato all’esterno della vasca, di facile e immediata manutenzione e pulizia.

Die Idee, die als Basis zur Entwicklung der Serie EDEN 500 von Außenfiltern diente, wurde die Erzeugung eines kompakten und kleinen Filter für Aquarianer, die aus Platzgründen keine große Aquarien zu Hause verwenden können. Nach der weltweiter Erfolg des kleinen Eden 501 Außenfilters, der zuerst als Filter für den Japanischen Markt dann als Schildkröten-Filter für
die USA entwickelt wurde, und dank der ständigen verkauften Stückzahlen des “Bruder-Filters” Eden 511 (auch mit dem Eden 425 Regelheizer lieferbar), hat sich EDEN entschieden, die 500 Serie von Außenfiltern beim Interzoo 2010 mit 2 neuen Modellen zu präsentieren.
Die Leistungen der verwendeten Pumpen, zusammen mit ihren kompakten Formen und das leise Betrieben, auch mit den vielen Zubehörteilen und Filter-Medien, machen diese Filter einzigartig in dem Markt und ideal für die Installation in Aquarien bis 250 lt. Diese Filter werden komplett mit
Einlasssystem, Verbindungsteilen und Auslassrohr (Spray-Bar) für den besseren Sauerstoffaustausch an der Wasseroberfläche geliefert; man kann sowieso sogar einen Wasserdiffusor verwenden und nach Belieben ausrichten. Alle Modellen sind sowohl für Süßals- auch Meerswasseraquarien geeignet.
Der Design und die Maße, die ganz besonders sind, eigenen sich ideal für eine Platzierung neben oder hinter dem Aquarium. Die kleineren Modellen sind besonders für die Installation in inneren Plätze geeignet , wo weniger Raum zu Verfügung ist. Die Motoren, die völlig durch einen Thermoschalter geschützt und vergossen sind, gewährleisten höchste Leise wie bei allen Edens Produkten, sind sehr zuverlässig und extrem Energie sparend. Eine weitere ganz besondere Eigenschaft dieser Filter liegt an die Absperrhalterungen der Schläuchen mit integrierter Durchflussregulierung an, die die
Installation und Pflege viel einfacher und sicherer machen. Damit gibt es auch kein Risiko, während der Reinigung Wasser auf den Boden zu gießen.
Das erleichtertes Öffnungssystem der Absperrhalterungen (mit Sicherheitsclips versehen) machen diese Außenfilter am sichersten auf dem Markt. Mit doppelten Filterstufen, biologisch und mechanisch und Gummi Füssen zum besseren Stabilität geliefert, die den Kontakt zu den Auflageflächen vermeiden. Ein kompakter und Platz sparender Design aller Modelle machen diese Filter unten den am meisten geliebt und mehr gekauft von den Aquarianern aller Welt.
Die 500 Serie ist auch mit einem Regelheizers-Set Eden Typ 425 lieferbar, die die Montage des Regelheizers im einen den inneren Filterkammern ermöglichen. Damit wird ein einzelnes und integriertes Filterssystem installiert, der die schnelle und sichere Pflege des Filters von außen erlaubt.

The innovation which brought about the development of the Range of 500 Canister Filters from Eden was to provide all fish keepers, who had restrictive space available to set up a tank at home.
This New Range of filters come with the added benefits of a safe, compact and small-sized filter which will meet all the requirements. The worldwide success of the Eden 501, which was initially developed to be sold in small tanks for the Japanese market and then as Turtletank filter in the US market, this was further developed with the increased size of its “Big Brother” Filter Eden 511 (also available with a 100W Eden 425 Thermostat Heater) finally convinced Eden to complete the whole range by introducing 2 more new models at the Interzoo 2010 Pet Show.
The performance of the submersible-pumps used in these very compact shapes and the extreme quietness, make these canister filters extremely unique in the aquarium market. They can be installed in and with tanks up to approx 250 lt.
The 500 range is made up of high professional canister filters, suitable for both fresh and salt water tanks. They are all supplied with complete intake systems, hoses and connecting elbows with a spray bar, which provides for a better oxygen exchange at the water surface or with a flow deflector to adjust water direction. An added benefit is the wider choice of accessories and filtering media supplied, you need to put in here the wide choice of accessories and filtering media available. Their original design and small size make the placing beside or behind a tank very easy and safe, especially for the smallest models, particularly suited to fit reduced spaces. The motors are completely sealed and thermal-protected the well-known Eden quietness
during operation, along with reliability, lower power consumption, thus offering any fish keeper the ideal performances of a proper filtration for the tank.
A most unique feature of the Eden 500 is the hose removal device, with an integrated flow control system which makes the installation extremely simple and cleaning a very safe process. The facilitated filter head opening reduces the risk of pouring water on the floor and the childproof lock make these external filters more reliable than any other on the marketplace of canisters.
