Multimedia Jukebox
TViX ist eine portable Multimedia Jukebox! TViX unterstützt die meisten Videoformate, einschließlich MPEG1, MPEG-2 (AVI, VOB) und MPEG-4 (AVI, XviD). Über 4 GB Videodateien sind unter NTFS- Format
unterstützt und ebenso das ISO Dateiformat (4GB oder mehr). CDs und DVDs können in Ihren TViX kopiert

Installation/Austausch der Festplatte
1) Die Montage des TViX ist ganz einfach. Folgen Sie den nachstehenden Anleitungen.
Trennen Sie Front- und Rückplatte des Aluminiumgehäuses.

2) Setzen Sie die 2.5" Festplatte auf das PCB-Board und schließen sie an der Schnittstelle an. Stellen Sie
den Jumper auf Single Master ein.

3) Schrauben Sie das PCB-Board mit den 4 großen Bolzen an der Kunststoff-Führung fest.
4) Setzen Sie Front- und Rückseite des Aluminium-Gehäuses auf die Kunststoff-Führung und schrauben
diese dann mit den 8 kleinen Bolzen an.

Video- und Audio-Anschlüsse
TViX unterstützt 3 Videoausgangs-Arten: „Composite”, „S-Video” und „Component”. Verwenden Sie den
Videoanschluss, der von Ihrem Fernsehgerät unterstützt wird, im Allgemeinen ist das Composite Video; im
Lieferumfang ist ein entsprechendes Kabel enthalten.
TViX unterstützt 2 Audioausgangs-Arten: „Stereo” und „Koaxial”.

SETUP MENÜ
Audio/Video Einstellungen
Dieses ist eine Anleitung zur Einstellung der Video/Audio Ausgänge Ihres TViX. Der TViX Video/Audio
Ausgangs-Modus muss der Einstellung des Video/Audio Eingangs-Modus Ihres Fernsegeräts entsprechen.
* Analog/DPC M
Wählen Sie diesen Modus, wenn Sie Audio mit dem Stereo-RCA-Kabel (Cinch) verbinden (das rote und
weiße Kabel).
* Kodierung Digital
Wählen Sie diesen Modus, wenn Sie Audio für die digitale Audioverbindung durch ein Koaxialkabel mit dem
Decoder/Verstärker verbinden. Kein Analog-Audio vom Analog-Anschluss des TViX.
* Farbkomponen t e Ausgang
Wählen Sie diesen Modus, wenn Sie Video über das Komponenten (YPbPr) Kabel anschließen. Sie können
unter 480P / 720P / 1080i die Ausgabeauflösung auswählen. Die Einstellung 1080i ist für alle HD-tauglichen
Fernseher verwendbar.
* TV Ausga ng
Die Standardvideoeinstellung des TViX ist COMPOSITE (NTSC/S-VIDEO oder PAL C/S-VIDEO).
Dies ist die häufigste Einstellung, die bei den meisten Fernsehern funktioniert.
NTSC C/YPbPr(480i), PAL C/YPbPr(576i) ist ein spezieller Fall. Wählen Sie diese Einstellungen, wenn Ihr
Fernseher über Komponenten-Ausgang an TViX angeschlossen ist.
Anmerkung: Wenn Sie nach dem Einschalten des Geräts und des Fernsehers nicht den TViX Startbildschirm
sehen, überprüfen Sie, ob Sie die richtige TV-Ausgang-Option verwandt haben, indem Sie wiederholt die
Taste TV-Ausgang auf der Fernbedienung drücken.

* TV Typ: 4:3 Letter Box / 4:3 Pan & Scan für Normalfernseher.
16:9 für Großbildfernseher wie HDTV oder Plasma-Fernseher.
Ist das Bildseitenverhältnis 4:3, dann wählen Sie 4:3 Letter Box oder 4:3 Pan & Scan. Ist das
Bildseitenverhältnis Ihres Fernsehgeräts 16:9, dann wählen Sie 16:9.
* Firmware Version: Zeigt die installierte Firmware Version an. (Die Version kann sich je nach Kaufdatum
ändern.)
Sonstige Einstellungen 1
* Dia Show Intervallzeit: Sie können die Dia Show Intervallzeit einstellen (1 - 10 Sekunden).
* Untertitel Schriftgrad: Sie können die Fontgröße der Untertitel einstellen.
* Untertitel/Kontur: Sie können Farbe und Kontur des Untertitels ändern.
* Schriftfarbe: Sie können die Farbe der Schrift verändern.
* Sprache Auswahl: Wählen Sie Ihre bevorzugte Sprache.
* AutoRun: Sie können Musik (Audiodateien) anhören, ohne dass diese angezeigt werden. Wenn Sie
„Shuffle“ (Zufallswiedergabe) auswählen, werden die Dateien in zufälliger Reihenfolge abgespielt.
* OSD: Sie können das Bildschirmdisplay bei der Wiedergabe und beim Laden einer Datei ein- bzw.
Ausschalten.

Sonstige Einstellungen 2
Die FF/REW und LINKS/RECHTS Tasten wurden aufgerüstet, damit Anwender ihre Vorlieben einstellen
können. Diese Funktion sowie die Zeiteinstellung können im MISC2 Menü eingestellt werden. Für die
Zeiteinstellung können Sie anstatt Setup auch die aufwärts/abwärts Pfeile im OSD verwenden, wie
beispielsweise „+15”’

Video Wiedergabe
Wiedergabe von Multimedia-Dateien
Deuten Sie den Pfeil auf die gewünschte Datei und drücken dann OK.
INFO:
Erster Druck: Zeigt Inhaltsinformationen an.
Zweiter Druck: Zeigt die vergangene Zeit an (der Progressbalken wird oben links im Bildschirm angezeigt).
Dritter Druck: INFO Aus.
UNTERTITEL:
Unterstützt SMI Multi-Subtitle Steuerung mit Untertitel Taste.
Fontgröße der Untertitel im SETUP Menü konfigurierbar.
Unterstützt .SUB (bitmap) + .idx Untertitel-Dateien.
PAL Format .SUB Untertitel werden in dieser Version nicht unterstützt. Kann der Umriss der Untertitel nicht
klar auf die .SUB Untertitel angewandt werden, dann können Sie die Farbeinstellung in Setup ändern.
ZOOM:
Erster Druck: Zoom. Sie können die Größe durch Drücken der Pfeiltasten ändern.
Zweiter Druck: Vollbildschirm.
Dritter Druck: PAN&SCAN Vollbildschirm.
Vierter Druck: Zoom ausgeschaltet.
BILD:
Bildeinstellung. Kontrast → Helligkeit → Farbsättigung.

LESEZEICHEN:
Wenn Sie den Film anhalten, wird diese Position automatisch gespeichert und Sie können später über die
Taste „Bookmark“ (Lesezeichen) auf der Fernbedienung an diesem Punkt fortfahren.
- Verbessert zur Speicherung von bis zu 5 Lesezeichen auf 5 verschiedenen Dateien (Es können jedoch
nicht 5 Lesezeichen in einer Datei gespeichert werden).
- Erkennt nur AVI, MPG, VOB, CAT, M2P Videodateien.
- Eine Videodatei mit eingerichtetem Passwort kann nicht gespeichert werden.
- Bei wiederholter Wiedergabe der gleichen Datei wird nur die letzte Position gespeichert, also ein
Lesezeichen eingerichtet.
- Eine von der Festplatte gelöschte Datei führt automatisch zur Löschung des Lesezeichens in der
Lesezeichenliste.
In der GOTO-Funktion wird die derzeitige Abspielzeit angezeigt.
* Mit der VIDEO-Taste können Sie Videodateien aus den im TviX gespeicherten Dateien herausfiltern.
* Folgende Probleme können durch Drücken der OK-Taste gelöst werden:
1) Wenn Ton- und Bildwiedergabe nicht synchron laufen.
2) Wenn Sie Störgeräusche hören.
3) Wenn das Bild einfriert.

DVD Wiedergabe
Zur Wiedergabe von auf Festplatte kopierten DVD-Dateien gehen Sie mit dem Cursor zu VIDEO_TS.IFO
und drücken dann OK.
Wie auf Ihrem DVD-Player ist volle DVD-Navigation möglich.

Pfeiltaste - Wenn ein Film läuft, fungiert sie als Vorlauf-/Rücklauftaste. Auf dem Menübildschirm können Sie
Ihren Cursor bewegen.
OK Taste - Wenn ein Film läuft, fungiert sie als Wiedergabe-Taste. Auf dem Menübildschirm fungiert sie als
Auswahltaste.
PAGE-DOWN - Zum nächsten Kapitel weitergehen.
PAGE-UP - Zum vorherigen Kapitel gehen.
AUDIO Taste - Zum Ändern der Audio-Einstellungen (international Dubbing, DOLBY, 2CH, 5.1CH, DTS usw.).
SUBTITLE - Zeigt das Untertitelmenü an.
MENU Taste - Zeigt den DVD Menübildschirm an.
TITLE Taste - Zeigt das DVD Titelmenü an.
ANGLE Taste - Bei DVDs mit Multi-Angle-Funktion, können Sie den Kamerawinkel ändern.
GOTO Taste - Sie können Uhrzeit, Kapitel und Titel auswählen. Nach der Auswahl können Sie direkt
abspielen.
Nummer + OK - Spielen Sie direkt das Kapitel der Nummer.
** Die Bedienung von „PICTURE” und „VOLUME UP/DOWN” ist die gleiche, wie in Videobetrieb.
Audio Wiedergabe
Zufallswiedergabe
- Wenn Sie auf die Taste SHUFFLE (Zufallswiedergabe) drücken, werden die Dateien des aktuellen
Verzeichnisses nach dem Zufallsprinzip abgespielt.
- Mit einem weiteren Druck auf die Shuffle-Taste verlassen Sie den Zufallsmodus.
Unterstützt FF/REW und GOTO Funktionen in Wiedergabe von WMA und WAV Dateien.
Unterstützt Musiktext-Dateien (.lrc).
Haben Musikdatei und Musiktext-Datei die gleiche Bezeichnung, werden die Musiktexte automatisch
angezeigt.
Unterstützt ID3 TAG (ID3V1) bei Wiedergabe von MP3 Dateien.
- Mit der INFO-Taste sehen Sie ID3 TAG (ID3V1).
- Zusätzlich aufgezeichnete Informationen in den MP3-Dateien, wie Künstler, Album etc. können ebenfalls
eingesehen werden.
- OGG zeigt ebenfalls die wichtigsten Tag-Informationen an.
Bild Wiedergabe
Sie können die Dia Show Intervallzeit im SETUP Menü einstellen.
Einige nicht standardgemäße JPEG Dateien können möglicherweise nicht angezeigt werden.
Wenn Sie die Taste PICTURE (Bild) drücken, erscheinen nacheinander die Menüs Contrast (Kontrast) Æ
Brightness (Helligkeit) Æ Saturation (Farbsättigung). In diesen Menüs können Sie mit Hilfe der Pfeiltasten
nach rechts und links Kontrast, Helligkeit und Sättigung einstellen.
Wenn Sie die Taste IMAGE auf der Fernbedienung drücken, werden nur die in TViX gespeicherten
Bilddateien angezeigt.
Wenn Sie mehr als eine Partition haben, bezieht sich dies nur auf die aktive Partition.

Firmware Upgrade
Überprüfung der Firmware Version
1. Schließen Sie TViX an Ihren Fernseher an und schalten ihn TViX ein.
2. Drücken Sie die Menütaste auf der Oberseite und der Setup-Bildschirm wird angezeigt.
3. Vergleichen Sie diese mit der neuesten Firmware Version von TViX unter www.tvix.co.kr
*** Sie werden über jegliche Firmware Updates oder Neuigkeiten informiert, wenn Sie die
Kundenregistrierung bei http://www.tvix.co.kr ausffüllen.
Wie die Firmware heruntergeladen wird
1. Laden Sie die neueste Firmware von http://www.tvix.co.kr auf Ihren PC herunter.
2. Entpacken Sie die tvixfw.zip Datei und Sie erhalten flash.bin und tvixfw.bin.
3. Schließen Sie den TViX über die USB-Verbindung an Ihren PC an und schalten ihn ein.
4. Ihr System erkennt TViX als ein externes Festplattenlaufwerk.
5. Kopieren Sie die zwei Firmware Dateien in den tvixfw Ordner des TViX Festplattenlaufwerks.
6. Schalten Sie den TViX aus und bringen ihn zu Ihrem Fernseher zwecks Durchführung des
Firmware Upgrade.
Wie das Upgrade der Firmware durchgeführt wird
1. ließen Sie den TViX an Ihren Fernseher an.
2. Drücken Sie die Menütaste auf der Oberseite und schalten TViX ein.
3. Halten Sie die Menütaste gedrückt, bis die PLAY Leuchtanzeige zu leuchten beginnt.
4. Der folgende blaue Bildschirm wird angezeigt. Befolgen Sie die nächsten Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm.

Windows 98SE Treiber-Installation
1) Lassen Sie bitte setup.exe von der Installations-CD ablaufen, bevor Sie Sie Ihren TviX anschließen.
Klicken Sie „Weiter” im nächsten Fenster.
2) Bitte nach dem Drücken der „ Finish” System rebooten.
3) Schließen Sie Ihren TViX an das System an. Der „Neue Assistent” erscheint automatisch.

4) Wählen Sie „Suche besten Treiber für Gerät” und drücken dann „Weiter”.
5) Gehen Sie bitte nicht durch die Menüs, klicken Sie direkt auf „Weiter”.

6) Das System findet automatisch „DVICO USB-ATA Bridge”, wie unten gezeigt. Klicken Sie „Weiter”.
7) Mit dem Klicken von „Finish” ist die Installation beendet.
8) Sie sehen das Laufwerk im TViX im Device Manager.

TIPPS
Windows ME oder Windows 2000 und XP haben ihre eigenen Treiber, die Software braucht dann also nicht
installiert zu werden. Lassen Sie Plug & Play laufen, wenn Sie Ihren TviX anschließen. Um zu sehen, ob Ihr
TViX richtig installiert wurde, klicken Sie rechts auf „Mein Computer” Æ Properties Æ Hardware Æ Device
Manager.

Hardware entfernen
1) Doppelklick auf das Hot Swap Icon
angezeigt. Klicken sie „Stop”, wenn Sie das Gerät abtrennen wollen.
2) Wenn „Stop Hardware-Gerät” angezeigt wird, klicken Sie „OK”.
und das „Hardware entfernen” Fenster wird
3) Klicken Sie OK und trennen das Gerät ab.
