User Guide
Thank you for using the Dukane Cam9000;
SETUP;
1. Please insert the camera with the rubber pad
of the camera facing down, into the mount
located on end of the flexible arm
2. Do not plug the USB cable into the computer
until told to do so when running the setup
program.
3. Wrap the USB cable in a spiral around the flexible arm, and attach it with the 3 Velcro fasteners at the
top, middle, and bottom.
4. Either use the CD in the carton to get basic
camera functionality,

Find the Product Support section. Look under
WEBCAMS and choose the product WEBCAM
Pro 9000. Select the approprate computer
system.
Follow the web site download instructions;
Download the software to a folder. Once the
download is done, browse to that folder and doubleclick the file to start the installation.
Note; if you have previously installed a prior version of QuickCam software (i.e. the version which came on CD with
your new camera) we suggest that you completely uninstall it and the associated driver, before installing this new
version.
The latest downloadable software is; Title: Logitech Webcam Software with Vid, Software Version: 1.1, Post Date: 10-27-2009,
Platform: Windows XP, File Size: 50 Mb
5. During the setup, you will be instructed to plug the camera cable into the USB port on the computer. That
will lead to full operation.
Operational hints;
If the image is not in sharp focus, check to be sure the transparent film cover over the lens has been
removed. Shift the camera to view other objects to trigger the auto focus operation.
Focus can be manually adjusted by opening the camera “settings” window (the gears on the menu) and
switching to Manual Focus then back to auto focus.
The latest video web software includes such applications as Skype, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant
Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Vid.

Cam9000 Description
This is a USB camera mounted on a heavy-duty flexible arm that permits the camera to be positioned as a web cam
or repositioned to view documents on the table. The camera operates by one permanently attached 6 ft. USB
cable that connects it to the computer. There are no other cables required. The stand is a solid metal base with 4
rubber feet and a heavy duty flex arm of 18 inches length with a customized camera holder on the end. The entire
unit is black in color. Special black Velcro ties are used to attach the cable to the flex arm. The arm must hold the
camera without any further movement once it has been set in place. Added properties are as follows;
